  I rented this condo for a weekend getaway with friends. The owner was responsive and accomodating. She met us at the airport with the directions and keys, and picked them up on our departure. The property was spotless and everything we could ask for was there. More like a hotel than a condo. The decor was very nice and modern. We loved the large balcony right on the ocean. It was in a good location. We could walk across the street to a surfing beach or go around a block to a calmer beach more suitable for swimming. It was a short distance to biokayaking and the rain forest.

  Excellent place, great and responsive owner. The apartment only lacks two things: Washer and Dryer and Internet (the municipal internet does not work, as previously stated in a review). If you can live without those during your vacation you should be A-OK. You cannot get any closer to the beach without getting wet. It is a perfect spot for the entire family. Legendary Sunrises, gorgeous balcony views. Guavas and Board-Riders restaurants are next to the building. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy access to the whole island, nearby attractions, Luquillo Beach and its Famous Kioskos, El Yunque Rain Forest, Las Croabas, Bio Bay, Vieques, Culebra. Definitely, we cannot wait to return to PR, and to this property.

  Owner response: We are glad you had a great time with your family! We cannot resolve the washer and dryer issue, although there is a laundromat around 5 minutes from the apartment. But we can offer our other apartment #168244, which does include washer and dryer. We are in the process of improving the internet service for our guests!   We want to thank Mayra and Wilfredo for the chance to stay in the rental unit! We started our trip in Old San Juan and were grateful to get away from the hustle and bustle to the lovely Luquillo! The unit is exactly as advertised; clean, safe, quiet, great location for exploring eastern side of the island. The views are incredible from the apartment. From the bedroom, watching the sunset over the mountains was spectacular, step on to the balcony to watch the sun rise over the reserve is truly unforgettable! Everything is a short distance from the apt, beaches, shops and restaurants. Mayra was very accommodating, we were late to pick up the keys, and she had someone meet us at the property, very prompt, great service! My family and I all agree that given the opportunity, we will definitely rent this property again, and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Puerto Rico!

  We recently rented this apartment - 4 adults and 2 children. Let me tell you that watching the dawn every morning at this spectacular view is not something that you see every day. This condo was as beautiful as the pictures indicate. The apartment is very modern and had all the stuff we needed. Luquillo Balneario (private beach) is only 2 minutes away by car and anything you need is around in the area even a Wallgreens or a McDonalds. This Condo is Close to ferry service to Culebra and Vieques. With no doubt I would recommend this condo very highly. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything you would need for a worry free vacation. All in all we had a blast! Thank you Mayra!!!!

  This apartment was perfect for our family - 2 adults and 2 small children. The view of the beach is breathtaking from the apartment's balcony on the top (5th) floor of the small building. The apartment itself has all the amenities a family needs. The beach is nice but there is some litter on it. The public beach, just a few minutes away by car, is a lot cleaner and calmer. Luquillo is a nice place and is calm. Fajardo is about 20 minutes away (it's worth going to Culebra or Vieques on the ferry) and El Yunque is only 10 minutes away. The owner provided toiletries, fresh coffee, beach toys, and water wings for kids -- thanks Mayra!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.
