Remuda Vacation Rental is owned and operated by a native Montanan, who has been a professional guide since 1988 for backcountry horse experiences and float fly fishing. We are equipped to provide the true Montana experience, helping you find the best places to experience the area's recreational opportunities. We arrange horseback rides, pack trips, hunting and fishing trips. We can even board your horses while you stay.
As a result of our three children’s involvement in 4-H, you may hear the bellar of a hungry steer or the neigh of a saddle horse. Our family has enjoyed the serenity of our country life and look forward to sharing it with you.
The four surrounding mountain ranges of the Gallatin Valley provide a paradise for the outdoor enthusiast. The nearby rivers and streams offer blue-ribbon fly fishing, while the mountains allow for world-class skiing. Bridger Bowl Ski Area is less than 30 minutes away, while Big Sky Ski Resort and Moonlight Basin Ski Resort are about an hour away. Hunting, hiking, biking, golfing, rafting, floating and snowmobiling are also popular activities for locals and tourists alike. And the nation's first national park, Yellowstone, is so close that you can make a day trip out of seeing the hydrothermal features and wildlife.
The Barn features an open floor plan with hardwood floors, custom tile, barn wood cabinets and all new appliances. Two private decks with mountain views allow for excellent star gazing beneath the big Montana sky. Completed in 2006, The Barn is fully furnished and has been tastefully decorated with custom touches that create a home away from home.

A wonderful way to explore Bozeman and area. The rental is a thoughtfully renovated one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a barn on 80 acres of property, with beautiful woodwork, a well orchestrated kitchen and living area, large bedroom, bathroom, spare room or second bedroom, and all the amenities including laundry. The details, esthetic and character are done with completeness and speak of Montana. The Reddick family is welcoming, friendly and personable. Waking up, seeing cows and horses on the property with rolling hills, open country and a backdrop of the Bridger Mountains, the Gallatin National Forest and downtown Bozeman from either of two balconies made for a splendid experience each day. You must walk over the property’s “hill” and see the sunset and maybe some elk if you are lucky! It is an ideal location, to feel removed and in the quiet countryside, yet still a short drive (about 10 miles) to a surprisingly vibrant, downtown Bozeman, as well many mountains and national forests. This location has the pristineness and beauty of Yellowstone without the crowds. It really is the epitome of Montana. We can’t wait to go back again. Our trip to Montana has been planned for months and we were expecting a lot from that trip. Our stay at the Barn exceeded our expectations by a lot – Not only we felt as comfortable as being at home but as well we had the chance to meet a wonderful family. The location is quite convenient, giving the peace you are looking for but still being close to Bozeman or Yellowstone. There is no question about the Barn – this is the place you want to go in Montana. Lucie and Francois

We have rented places in the Bozeman area several times, and The Barn has to be our favorite. It has breathtaking views, has a rustic look, yet is completely modern and comfortable, and the Reddicks couldn't have been nicer.

If you love the big sky, and you love the outdoors, the Barn is definitely the place to visit. The apartment is wonderfully comfortable, and beautifully finished.Our host and the family were terrific and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not forgetting the horses which were a pleasure to be around.Total relaxation away from the madness of city life. Definitely highly recommended.
