Stargazer villa is best known by the locals for its elegant and stunning architecture commanding the hilltop of the THEMIS gated community of Schinias; it is only surpassed by the incredible vistas surrounding it. The entire villa has over 6000 sq ft of living space in addition to over 5000 sq ft of balconies and porticos. At the back of the villa, the terrain is left natural with wild vegetation and marble rocks, the gas BBQ and of course the 4 person hot tub (May through September only)!
The penthouse part of the villa has 4 private entrances and 6 verandas.

The Guesthouse on the first floor of the villa, has 150 Sq m of living space, 2 bedrooms, a loft, and 2 baths, with separate kitchen and living room and verandas. It can be made available for larger groups of guests or guests who require more space. Just ask!

Thanks for everything, the house was amazing I can tell that you worked hard and put a lot of thought into it. I enjoyed the most sitting and the cusion by the window reading and enjoying the wind! Also sitting in the Hot tub in the back yard and the lovely decks. A great place to have a glass of wine! My time here will be a memory that I will hold dear for the rest of my life..

If there is heaven in earth we found it here! Our big group fitted very comfortably and everybody were so pleased in finding everyhting they needed. You both - Steve and Despina, wil lbe remembered with most warm, pelasant and healthy image. Thank you for a new and magnificent experience, such as your swimming spot, and letting us try your figs from the tree. We msut come back, there is not enough time in one week! From now on, Greece for us is nothing but - your figs - sun- water- ancient- friendliness and - of cource- STARGAZER VILLA.

No one could fail to be impressed by the setting of Stargazer Villa. We spent hours just admiring the view from one or other of the balconies with the light and shadows changing throughout the day. The house itself is admirable; it is well equipped; and we were very comfortable there. We particularly appreciated the gas grill and (since we are travelling for many months with limited changes of clothes) the washing machine, which saw much use! We thank you also for your personal hospitality. Stavros gave us a great introduction to the local area on our first day, and you both helped us out whenever (which was often!) we had questions. Despina’s generous assistance in guiding Deb through the Greek medical system to fix a minor accident was especially appreciated. We very much enjoyed our little window into living in Greece, and some of our best memories are of the simple things associated with living in the Marathon area. We hope you remembered to tell the local butcher how much we enjoyed shopping with him! Visits to the fruit and vegetable stand, fresh bread warm from the baker’s, delicious souvlaki in the town square, lunch at a taverna on the beach – these are the things we remember just as much as the great cultural attractions of Athens. The one potential problem of using Marathon as a base for exploring Greece, at least for non-Greek speakers like ourselves, is the challenge of getting round to see so many attractions spread out across so wide an area and fully appreciating what you are seeing along the way. You have solved this brilliantly by having Rosa and Stavros as your neighbors! In addition to their being a charming couple, Stavros’s knowledge and his willingness to spend long hours at the wheel made our exploration time so much more enjoyable than they would otherwise have been. We would certainly encourage other visitors to take advantage of Stavros’s services. Our experience was much richer for the time we spent chatting with him on our excursions.

had always dreamed of a family vacation on mainland Greece, and the minute I saw the Stargazer Villa's website, I knew I had found the perfect spot and hosts for our adventure. From the moment I contacted the owners, they were most helpful and gracious in providing us with all the information and advice we needed for our trip. Their villa is absolutely fabulous with so many amenities and so comfortable and roomy for my husband and I and our three teenagers. The villa is so close to a very relaxing beach, and centrally located to visit many wonderful historic sites. Ten days in Greece was not near enough to enjoy it all. In their gorgeous villa with the incredible views, the owners will treat you like family. I guarantee that a stay at Stargazer will be incomparable to practically any other vacation villa you have ever visited!
