The setting was beautiful and the view of the golf course breath taking. Golfing at the course is a must for golfers and not expensive at all, make sure to set a tee time. Our only disappointments were the cleanliness of the property, not as clean as I'd like, cob webs in all high corners, dirty windows and whenever we used any dishes for the first time we had to wash them as they were put away dirty. If you enjoy a bar of soap or a box of Kleenex make sure to bring your own as they weren't provided.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We live in the east and have family in the valley that we visit every year. We began vacationing in Sedona yearly and have stayed in some lovely places but this home, by far, was the best. Our family had the most relaxing vacation in this amazing home. The house is so spacious and comfortable that we (6 adults) had room to be together or alone, whatever you were looking for. The peace and serenity that this home provided was something you won't find everywhere. The location is perfect; close enough to all you will want to do while in Sedona, but far enough away that you feel you are in Sedona alone. We hope to come back again and again. The Scanlons are wonderful hosts. Thank you for the memories!

I don't think we could have selected a better place to spend our first trip to Sedona. The location is fantastic - close enough to sightseeing, shopping, dining, hiking, even a day trip to the Grand Canyon - but on its own secluded island in the middle of the National Forest. What a treat to spend time with the red rocks right in your backyard, and with just a short walk up the hill, endless possibilities for pictures and hikes. The house was top-notch, with all of the comforts of home, and the Scanlons were absolutely wonderful to deal with. I would highly recommend taking advantage of their hospitality!

This property is everything you see in the pictures but also much more. The location is perfect not only for views from the deck and every room, but also for an unparrallel 360 degree panoramic sunrise and sunset view within a 200 yard uphill walk! The presentation is excellent in terms of cleanliness, decorations, comfort, and accomondation for 7 adults. My adult family had a great week and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Scanlons!

From the first moment we walked in we felt as if we at home. The home was spotless and the kitchen was furnished with beautiful dishes and top of the line appilances with two ovens and BBQ. All the linens were great, clean and fresh. The views were awesome and the weather could not have been better. Almost every morning we had the pleasure of watching hot air ballons rising in the distance. The views of the golf course were terrific. The decor of the house fit right in with my daughter and myself as I am a quilter and she in into photography as is the owner and her daughter. The home also has beautiful hardwood floors. We did a lot of sight seeing and hiking while we were there and of course shopping. My son is in a wheelchair and the home was great for him as he took the bedroom and bathroom on the street level floor. My grandkids, ages 3 & 7, loved being there. Hiking around the house and finding rocks. We stayed for 7 days, and everyday there was something different to do and see. We truly belive that God put this house into our hands to live there for a week totally at peace and feeling safe. All 7 of us had plenty of room for get togethers or to have our own space. What a great family vacation!!! We fully intend to return to Sedona and hope that this home will be available for our use next year.

From the minute we walked in the door we knew we had chosen well! The home is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views from every window. It is beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. The layout was perfect for our family of five, with plenty of "elbow room" for everyone. The kitchen is large and well stocked, with high-end Dacor appliances. The bedrooms are spacious, with large luxury baths and clean, very comfortable bedding. In addition, having traveled from the East Coast and arriving very late at night, we appreciated the owners having the basics on hand -- soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. They even had the lights on for us and a very thoughtful "welcome" basket with snacks and goodies! We especially enjoyed the quilts, paintings, and photographs -- all original art created by the artist/homeowners -- which was tastefully displayed throughout the home. Our movie nights in the large lower level family room with blue-ray TV were also a favorite. The property is close to everything, yet nicely away from the busy downtown Sedona area. There are great walking opportunities in the resort area itself and plenty of trailheads nearby. We found the home very well located for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Jerome, and for 1/2 day trips to Slide Rock State Park, Red Rocks State Park, Pulatki Ruins, Jeep tours, and many other nearby sites and attractions. We loved Cafe Elote and Red Rocks BBQ restaurants, just minutes from the house. As resort rental property owners ourselves, we know what it takes to provide a great vacation experience, and this property has it all. You won't be disappointed!

This place had the one of the most spectacular views in the Sedona area. There were a couple of hiking trails within walking distance. Everything in this place is new and clean. I hope to RE-visit sometimes. I personally would recommend this place for those who want to enjoy a beautiful view and weather in Sedona.
