This was our third time to the Marival and our first time renting with George. The savings in booking with George vs. booking with the typical vacation package carriers was amazing. The last time we visited the Marival we booked with a carrier for the last week of November and the first week of December (2 weeks) because Christmas was just too expensive. This time we booked for 3 weeks and over Christmas. We basically paid the same amount as we did for the 2 weeks that we had before but we got an extra week and got to be there over the peak period. Having the Gold Member status was great too. We have 3 kids ages 1, 3, and 5. The free laundry service really came in handy. We will definitely book with George again if visiting the Marival.

Another terrific family vacation at the Marival

We just returned from our second visit to the Marival and this visit was even better than our first time, in large part due to this fabulous vacation rental. Because we were travelling with our two young children, ages 4 and 21 months, we ended up upgrading (for an additional fee) to a two bedroom oceanfront unit since only the ocean front units are one storey (the standard two bedroom units are beautiful, but one bedroom is up and the other down, and they are seperated by a spiral staircase which was not going to work for our youngest child). The unit we stayed in was gorgeous - two oceanfront balconies, a huge amount of common space, big kitchenette with dining area, and three full bathrooms. Even with the surcharge, this trip was still a good value - our kids stayed free, there are 5 great pools, including a kids pool with waterslides, a beautiful beach with plenty of palapas and chairs, and plenty of food available at any time of day you might ne hungry. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We loved the Gold Club benefits, especially the free laundry and the unlimited a la carte restaurant reservations. This is the way to go at the Marival! George was pleasant, responsive, and very professional. We'll definitely be going back.

Fantastic Stay and Perfect for Young Kids

We just got back from a one-week stay in George's 2-bedroom condo. We were there the first week of April. It was an outstanding vacation all around. The property was great, including the room which was quite large and easily accomodated us, my husband's parents, and our two kids - ages 4 and 6. Booking with George was easy and while we had a few glitches at check-in (they had us arriving the next day), it didn't take long to sort out and would have been avoided if I'd emailed or called before our arrival to confirm our dates. The rental rate and the all inclusive price were very reasonable. The resort has so many activities that are great for young kids, which is what I was really looking for. So, if you have little ones that like to stay busy with soccer, dancing, rock climbing, crafts, theater, etc., this place is great.

Family Fun at the Marival!

We just arrived home after spending two great weeks at the Marival with our three children, ages 4, 6, and 8. The website for the property totally undersells itself and it is huge! The two bedroom unit was perfect for us with lots of space. The value of being a Gold Member - priceless! Free laundry service and easy booking at the a la Carte restaurants was fabulous. There were tons of beach chairs , a very good gym and friendly staff at the resort. Thanks George - we had a great time! We'd definitely return again.

My wife and I, along with our three kids (13, 10 and 8) just returned from our second visit to Marival, both of which were purchased through this listing. Marival is a terrific family property. Between the beach, pools and activities, there is plenty to do for everyone. We relaxed when we wanted and played hard when we wanted (especially beach volleyball, water volleyball, water polo, etc.) Interestingly, although we planned to venture out, we never left the property either trip. There was just no reason to. The property is well designed with restaurants and bars all over. You don’t need to go far to drink or eat. Bartenders are nice and good to the kids as well. The property is pristine. The beach is beautiful. The kids can walk out into the ocean over 100 yards, and only be up to their stomachs in water. The 2-BR suites are pretty decent. They are large and are set-up really well for families with plenty of room for everyone and privacy for mom and dad. Both transactions with George went smoothly. George was great to deal with and followed-up with us to make sure that the room that we got was correct. The fact that he is a “Gold” member, meant that we got priority reservations to the ala carte restaurants, discounts at the lobby store and free laundry service (we just sent it in, it came back clean, and we were not charged). We made friends on both trips. We learned that others paid a more than we did for 1-BR suites, and a lot more for 2-BR suites. In some cases, our friends could not get advance reservations to the ala carte restaurants for their families. However, we were able to get advance or same day reservations because of the “Gold” membership, so we just got reservations for the entire group and invited them to join us. The families we met plan to return to Marival as well, but based on what we paid and our positive experiences with George, plan to purchase through this listing in the future. Had a fabulous time at your property. The food, suite and resort was very clean and friendly. We loved the free laundry service and the Gold Club member discounts. We had a great time at the Marival, and would recommend it to anyone, with a family or just a couple... the food was good the service was great the weather was fantastic... The Banderas Bay area is well worth the trip.. I thought 2 weeks was too long but we had such a great experience their I could have stayed longer. George wasvery helpful with all our pre-trip questions.
