  What a great place to stay. Very clean, and well kept. Remarkable view and great wildlife. Michael is a tremendous owner. Very willing to share information about biking and hiking. First rate all of the way. If you enjoy cooking, like we do, you will love the kitchen. Can't wait to go back.

  I stayed here with my wife and dogs over a weekend. We had a great time exploring the local area. Dog owners should take note of the nearby fenced wooded dog park just south of Elk Meadow Park, off of Stagecoach Blvd. It was so nice to have the wood burning stove going in the chilly October evenings.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

  This is a really great place to stay and it's the second time we've stayed at one of Michael's cabins. Michael and his wife are fantastic people and they make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your vacation. They have excellent recommendations for activities and day trips, and can help you find something new to discover, even if you're locals. As for the cabin; it's in a great location and is even nicer than the pictures indicate--it definitely exceeded our high expectations! We were also able to bring our golden retriever and he gives it two paws up. Highly recommended and we are already planning to return! Thanks again, Michael!

  Came up for a week with family to see the Crosby, Stills, Nash concert at Red Rock and we randomly picked Michael's cabins. We enjoyed our visit so much we extended our stay, and Michael made accommodations for us in another lovely cabin, as ours was rented out as of our initial leave date. We've talked about coming up in the winter with a larger family group. Moose EVERYwhere, deer on our front porch, a fox on the back porch. Was never so immersed in nature. And the place(s) were immaculate! They thought of everything, too. We had a GREAT time. Thanks so much for the hospitality!!

  We stayed with Michael for three weeks in the Wilderness Cabin. It was the best vacation we have had in years. The cabin was perfect for our needs, and Michael was the perfect host. The cabin is the perfect size and set up. We were able to have our dogs with us on this trip which was an added bonus. We all enjoyed watching the deer, foxes and chipmunks as they walked by our windows. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading. It is a great place for a get away for a couple or a family.

  My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary at the cabin on the canyon and the weather was excellent. Clean air and beautiful mountain landscaping. My wife sat out on the deck early in the morning reading. She looked up and there they were. Deer were feeding not more than 20 feet away from her. We also enjoyed the visit from a red fox on a couple occasions. My wife is very much a city girl so she was of course ecstatic. Our stay was not long enough as 4 days just flew by. Thank you Michael, we will be back.

  Just a thank you for a great weekend! Not only was it wonderful to spend the weekend with my best friends, but we enjoyed it in a fabulous place! Comfortable, inviting, well-stocked with quality things - it was very enjoyable. Our host was accomodating, gracious and helpful. One highlight was the two young deer feeding right next to the front deck of our cabin for over 10 minutes as we all stood and watched in awe - nice touch!! Thanks again for making a special weekend extra memorable!!

  This is our first time to stay in this cabin but our second time to rent one of Michael's Cabins. We loved our last stay that this is now our favorite get away spot. All the cabins are clean and very comfortable.This cabin was larger which we liked even though we ony used one bedroom. We come for piece and quiet and that is exactly what we got. We plan to return many times before winter. We are so glad we found this great get-away! You cannot go wrong.
