What a lovely little spot! It's a great location, walking distance to one of the best neighborhoods in the city with cafe's shops, local hardware stores, WholeFoods, good restaurants, etc. It's very cozy, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and very spacious for a one bedroom. I felt very at home there - could have stayed for months. Owners are great folks, warm, hospitable, helpful - everything you'd want. I'd definitely stay there again.

So satisfied

birdsong and sunlight! Well, I found it here. This studio is so cozy inside (like a cottage on a Maine island) but outside, instead of the Northeast chill, there's a garden full of flowers and a beautiful view of San Fran from the top of "Noe Hill" aka Liberty Hill, I took BART into Powell every morning to attend a conference and was easily able to commute. WHole foods was around the corner. A nice walk to Mission Dolores Park and many shops and restaurants. The furnishings are sweet and comfortable; clean and plush. Granite kitchen, down comforters and towels a plenty, lovely lighting and all the appliances I needed in the kitchen. Can't wait to come back--and check out even more of the neighborhood.

This very comfortable and quiet studio is on one of Noe Valley's most charming streets. It's very close to 24th with its shops and restaurants (and Whole Foods, a great little bookstore, cheese shop, and so much more), as well as a quick walk to Dolores Park and the Mission. (Don't miss Bi-Rite ice cream and Tartine's bakery.) The kitchen is tops for cooking or just for morning coffee. Great views in the area. BART is a 20-minute walk. Very much looking forward to a return visit.

Sanctuary in SF

Travelling to San Francisco from Australia with my son, I wanted a comfortable and relaxing 'home away from home' as a base of operations. This studio was Perfect! Quiet and Cozy, it had all the necessities to live life as we would have in our regular home across the planet. Noe Valley is warm and sunny and hidden away from the intense hustle and bustle of downtown, but well within easy reach of transportation to all that the city has to offer. The Neighbourhood is full happy residents, funky shops and delicious restaurants - only few blocks walk from the studio. The owners were extremely helpful with all kinds local information and ensured that the studio was honestly marketed, clean and well maintained. I would stay again without question, and am looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I stayed here for 6 days in Oct '09. We absolutely loved it! At the end of our days adventuring in Noe Valley, the Inner Mission and the Castro, it always felt like we were coming "home". The studio was nicely appointed and very clean. Nan was a fantastic hostess, answering all our questions about the city and getting around, and was friendly and helpful. We really came to enjoy running into her - like meeting a friend or good neighbor. Access to transportation was simple, with the J-Church streetcar just down the street in one direction, and the 24 Divisidero bus just down the street the other way. Walk down the hill a couple of blocks and you'll find 24th Street, filled with shops, restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops. Noe Valley is a great place to stay. The walk back up the hill is not for the weak of heart, but we actually enjoyed it, feeling we were working off some of the excess we enjoyed in those restaurants and coffee shops. One caveat: Its not a rental for anyone over 6'1"- 6'2" due to the low ceiling in spots, but the ceiling added to the overall coziness. I'm 5'11" and had no problem. We visit SF every couple of years and, if available, definitely hope to stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality, Nan.
