My family and I spent a wonderful week at LaValle. The kids loved swimming in the pool and fishing in the lake. I love the privacy of this property, you truly feel like your the only people for miles around. The house was very roomy and up to date. The management was super friendly and eager to please. I would definitley recommend LaValle to family and friends.If you are looking for a relaxing country get away, it doesn't get any better than this.!!!!

LaVallee is a farm in name only. We have spent several weeks there for family vacations, and everyone found something they wanted to do: from playing tennis; fishing in the lake; swimming in the pool; exploring the pathways on the property; and, after the day was done, sitting out under the trees watching the deer and gazing at the star-light sky. The house has beautiful furnishings and a thoroughly modern kitchen. Everything is up to date, but the house still has all the old charm of a century old home. The house was immaculate and we would certainly recommend this vacation spot to friends. All were wonderful relaxing vacations, and when we wanted the "big city", Richmond was less than an hour away for great shopping, dining, and sightseeing. We will return to this marvelous place again!

Perfect spot for gathering friends and family together. One of the most beautiful properties in Virginia. The farm is secluded, yet minutes away from shopping and an easy commute to historic Richmond. The house is well appointed and spacious with lots of room for reading, board games and enjoying the views from every window and porches. The property with its tennis court, pool, fishing pond, acres of walking trails offers something for everyone to do regardless of age. A simply fabulous spot for relaxing.
