Wonderful for a family or a romantic getaway. Just 30 yards from the beach, this house at Carmel Point provides the perfect base from which to explore or just stay and relax. Well decorated, this three bedroom house has comfortable living and full dining room will accommodate six. Step outside to a spacious back deck, and down to a beautifully landscaped bricked meditation area.
Luxuriate in the master bedroom with its king-sized bed with sliding doors that open to views of the ocean and mountains. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed, private bathroom, and a deck with views of mountains and ocean. The third bedroom is over-sized, with two twin beds, and sliding doors to the deck and dedicated bathroom.

We loved our stay at Casa Dalise. It was very close to the River beach just around the corner from Ocean beach. The house was very roomy for our two couples and three kids. The furniture was very kid-friendly as well. We felt like we could just settle in and have a great time. The owner, Nancy has painted some really beautiful paintings of landscapes that grace the walls of the house. The top deck of the house has a great view of the ocean. We would definitely go back. I should also mention that Nancy was great at arranging a last-minute stay for us as we just happened to be in the area for a few days.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We live in Carmel and needed an extra house for our children and grandchildren visiting from Canada. Casa Dalise was perfect in all respects - very well laid out, in good order, very comfortable, a great backyard for kids, one block from the beach, beautiful ocean views. Our family loved it, and so did we. We definitely will rent it again when our kids return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Casa Dalise. The house is lovely and with the beautiful weather we had, we enjoyed the bright interior and the great sun decks. The location is ideal. The house was better that the description listed on the web. The house was very clean and everything worked perfectly. We had been renting from a local real estate company for the past thirteen years, and dealing with the owners of this house was easier and more professional. We would recommend Casa Dalise to our friends, and we have all ready booked this house for next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

What an amazing property, 3 levels each with a deck and beautiful view . Tastefully decorated and highly organized this is a top quality property. I gifted this to my nephew for his honeymoon they were blown away by this amazing property and location they mentioned that they had no idea that there were beaches in California that were like Mexico! One morning they woke up early and went down to the beach and climbed through the rocks enjoying the fun goodies in the tide pools! They keep thanking me! So thank you Nancy I'm sure that they will treasure that memory forever :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a very nice time. We enjoyed Casa Dalise: the house and the setting. The boys asked me to tell you that what they appreciated most was the kitchen. We enjoy cooking so eat our evening meals at home. Curtis was delighted to find an oven thermometer for his Christmas roast and a pie server for his apple pie. Every year we go somewhere new for the holidays. Never have the cooks had it so good! Thank you also for the champagne. "We really enjoyed our short visit at Casa Dalise. The view from the upper deck is spectacular. We were fortunate to have two sunny mornings to enjoy the blue sea and sky. It was very convenient to have the beach so close by. All aspects of the house and garden were very pleasant. We noticed that much of the artwork was Nancy's. We were interested in the artwork and would have liked more information about the paintings. We found that the house was well-equipped with items a guest needs. We were happy that Nancy and Rob shared Casa Dalise with us"Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Dear Nancy and Rob ~ What fabulous sunsets we were treated to in Carmel, and they're even more spectacular when seen from your deck across the water. We were all in agreement that we couldn't have found a more perfect spot to stay while in Carmel. I can't tell you how often my husband turned to me while we were sitting on the deck, being treated to a great sunset, and thanked me for finding Casa Dalise. We have gone to Carmel for 20 years, and only briefly noticed the sunsets, because we didn't have much of a view of the ocean, and we were blown away by the sunsets that we were treated to from your deck. The other thing we really liked was the position of your home. We had great views of the ocean, but were secluded in our own special spot, away from the eyes of those walking along Scenic Avenue. We had the view, but not the traffic, of Scenic, and it couldn't have been more perfect! We even saw whales in the distance from your deck, which definitely was a special treat! We will always have wonderful memories of this trip. We walked along the beach, or along Scenic Ave., up to town every day, because the weather was so amazing. We were so lucky that everything came together so beautifully, including the weather. We also appreciated the basket of goodies that you left for us, especially including the wonderful champagne, which was a great way to begin our week. Thank you so much for sharing your charming and lovely home with us. We felt you left it very well-supplied for your guests, and your accommodations were wonderful. The gardens are so pretty, and I can only imagine how lush it will all be when spring actually arrives. What an exceptional spot to live, and what a treat for us to be able to share in that, if only for a week. It was everything we'd hoped it would be. This is truly a beautiful place and being near the ocean is spectacular. We have waited so long for these days of vacation and we are so glad we could spend them at your beach house. Our children loved the bedroom and especially having access to their very own tide pool and sandy beach. Thanks for your internet connection too.
