  Place funky and sort of clean..... Bathroom walls behind door need attention. I think thathaving ground coffee w/cream and sugar is a must have, some said it was fully stocked but not so! Location is fabulous!

  We spent four nights at this place and it couldn't have been better! The apartment was clean and cozy and located in a terrific part of town. Vladimir, the landlord, provided timely responses to all our inquiries and we didn't have a single problem the entire time we were there. Whether you're looking for great restaurants/ bars, easy access to downtown, or a short walk to Japanese gardens, you'll find it all located nearby!

  The Nob Hill area is a nice place to stay; close to bar, restaurants and shops and NW 23rd and 21st Avenues. We walked to and from the downtown area every day, which took about 20ish minutes. The apartment itself is nothing special. Very small, but adequate for sleeping purposes. The bed's mattress was very stiff and the wooden bed frame creaked with every move in the night. Other than that, the apartment is fine for crashing after a long day.

  Everything was great! Cute little space in a great neighborhood. I had a few questions during my stay, so I emailed the owner. He replied very promptly both times and was very helpful. I would stay here again.

  This place is as advertised. The owner was very responsive and provided good details regarding the financial arrangements and how to enter/exit the house. This is a perfect space for two people, but we also saw the place next door that is more spacious and would be good for a longer stay. I was in town for a conference, but wished I had more time to explore the nearby neighborhood - it's very close and had lots of great shops and restaurants. Don't miss Zupan's Market nearby - it was hard to not just go there every day! Only improvements could be easier to adjust shower temperatures, directions on parking (street), and a few more basics like spices. Overall, excellent place and I will stay there again if in Portland.

  I stayed here during a 5 day first time visit to Portland and couldn't have asked for a better spot. Everything from location - one can walk absolutely everywhere -most importantly to Trader Joe's only a 10 minute walk away - to a comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed apartment in which to relax after a day of walking the city. The one or two questions I had were instantly attended to by Vladimir as was the return of my glasses that I left in the apartment as I left in the early hours of morning . Portland is a great city and this is a super spot from which to explore.

  The apartment is as advertised--clean, attractive, and convenient. The bed is really comfortable. Only minor problem was with shower handle, which was difficult to mix in cooler water during showering. We were there when afternoon high temp hit a very unusual 102 degrees F, so AC would have been nice, but fan made it tolerable. Proximity to street car, good bus service, restaurants and taverns couldn't be better; it's in a very walkable district of a very walkable city. Loved Kornblatt's bakery and deli on 23rd at Irving, and the City Market on 21st Street is sweet, old-fashioned delight!

  I recently stayed in the apartment for a week and couldn't have asked for a better location. I didn't have a car, but very easily got around by walking and using Portland's excellent public transportation. I went to all different areas of the city--there are 2 bus lines or the streetcar within easy walking distance, there are also shops and restaurants right nearby. It was so convenient to be able to eat dinner at a great place a block away or pop over to Trader Joe's just a few blocks away to grab a few items. But it's also walkable to other areas if you're up for it--I walked to downtown and out to Forest Park from the apartment. The apartment itself is very comfortable and had everything I needed. It's on a nice residential street which was very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had what I needed, and I appreciated the maps and guidebook that were available to use. It was nice to have a comfortable place to return to in the evenings, or even a spot that I could stop in during the day to take a break before heading out for another activity. I'd highly recommend this apartment!

  First time VRBO renter: Perfect apartment, perfect landlord (responds immediately!!!), clean, well furnished and stocked, perfect location (fun,vibrant, intergenerational neighborhood), easy to park, quiet, good light. We'll be back. (Just hope my Portland friends don't reserve for their friends first, after my raving about this place). Easy access to all Portland and Oregon has to offer. Owner has plenty of literature/maps detailing local and state opportunities for fun and adventure.

  Staying at the Nob Hill apartment was a wonderful experience! The apartment is all about location, location, location! Being in the Alphabet District, we enjoyed simply walking to all the restaurants and clubs, and Trader Joe's was right around the corner. The apartment is very clean, has a comfortable bed, and is in a quiet neighborhood. Parking was either right out front, or just a few blocks away. Working with the owner was no problem at all--everything was as stated on the website and he was always very helpful answering our questions. We would definitely stay here again!
