  Words cannot adequately express how highly we recommend Villa Verano. It is simultaneously unbelievably opulent, yet so comfortable we felt immediately at home. The customer service was unbelievable. Every interaction from booking through check-in was professional, courteous and lovely. The house itself exceeded all expectations. The grounds are breathtaking and there are so many beautiful paces to just sit and enjoy the natural beauty. Every day we discovered something new and magical. We would say forever if it was possible and we will come back as quickly as we can. Thank you for everything!!!

  Villa Verano is a magical place. Our family rented this gorgeous home for 4 nights in February, and could not have been more impressed with the home, the location, and Claudia. It took me a few laps around the house to get fully oriented because the home and property is huge - definitely allowed for our large group of 16 to feel like we had some privacy and weren't on top of each other. Pick some fruit while you stay here - Claudia encouraged us to do so, and we ate as many oranges, avocados, limes and lemons as we could! From start to finish, Claudia made us feel welcome and cared for... Thank you for that, and for letting us share this wonderful home.

  We rented Villa Verano for our April wedding, and enjoyed it the week before with our wedding party and family. We looked at countless properties in Santa Barbara, and Sonoma, and happened to stop by Villa Verano on our way to the Airport, heading home from our location finding trip. The second we stepped on the grounds, we knew this was it! The landscape is beautiful, and the house has the perfect setup for a large group. We had 7 couples, including us, and there was always plenty of room, and the ability to sneak off and find a quiet place to relax. You can't find a more beautiful setting for a wedding, and I highly recommend renting the villa for that purpose, or just to relax on holiday with family or friends. Rachel was great to work with, and always responsive, even to the smallest details and questions. We can't wait to find another reason to get back to the Villa!   I was looking for a beautiful house to create a special weekend for my wife. Leaving San Francisco was easy because the house is not far from the airport and it was nice, sunny, and quiet and that was all we needed. I know that we will come back next year. Five out of five stars.

  My family and I rented this home for a week vacation and were blown away by the beauty and elegance. It embodies the romance of Santa Barbara while making you feel so comfortable and at home. We cooked and grilled every night. The kitchen has everything you can imagine. The kids loved the game room, the theater and the pool. I loved the master bedroom and it's private balconies. Like a lot of the other reviewers I only saw the home online and was hoping it looked just like the pictures. It's even more beautiful than the pictures portray. The Owner was so generous and accommodating. I could not have asked for a better experience. I can't wait to come back next year.

  Our recent family gathering here was fantastic! We had rented the home site unseen and initially had some concerns about whether the photos on the website would represent reality. In truth, the photos don't do the home justice. The home has so much space and room for each guest to feel a part of the gathering, yet be able to get away for a little seclusion. The meandering gardens are lush and beautiful. There were so many perfect locations for our photographer to take great family shots. The pool was the biggest hit with the kids (huge movie theater was a close second) and every evening was spent on the patio for dinner. Great view. Couldn't have asked for a better place and the owners were so accommodating. The home is well stocked for cooking, etc. We will definitely be back.

  We chose this villa from the web site as the location for a family gathering to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The web site does not begin to to convey the full beauty of this magnificent home. It really is like being a guest in a family home rather than a rental. The house is spotless, superbly maintained with friendly helpful staff. I would recommend this home to anyone. In addition, the location is perfect with wonderful views towards the ocean from ample, well furnished large terraces all set within mature beautiful gardens and walkways. Our only regret is not staying longer - simply magic

  We recently had a family holiday at this lovely home and had a wonderful time. The house has everything you could need to suit all age levels. The location is beautiful - close enough to downtown Santa Barbara but a little up in the hills so you have the best of the weather. We can't wait to come back.
