The Main House is set up perfectly with sleeping accommodations in two separate wings. On the east side, the Master Bedroom of rich turquoise and aqua echo the colors of the pool views just outside. The second Bedroom in this wing is a cozier space with queen-size bed, and both rooms share a Hall Bathroom. The other two bedrooms in the opposite wing off the Living Room feature a king-size bed and two twin beds, respectively, with a Hall Bathroom nearby. The Living Room fireplace can also be enjoyed from the Dining Room for added ambiance and a warm glow at mealtime. For convenient mealtime service, the barbecue and outdoor table seats 8, and is stationed just outside the smart and well-equipped main Kitchen. For added entertainment while dinner is being prepared, challenge someone to a fast game of ping-pong on this patio.
The detached poolside Guest House functions as a second residence with three Bedrooms, Kitchen, two full Bathrooms, Dining area and Living Room. The Great Room with hardwood floors has soaring ceilings above that add drama and welcome an abundance of natural light to the space. The Master Suite is a private space with a large flat screen TV, private enclosed patio, and full Bathroom. Another Master Bedroom with king-size bed features sliding doors to a shady deck facing east. Adjacent to this spacious room is a cozy spot with two twin beds, a perfect place for little ones to stay close to their parents.
The Pool Cabana offers sliding doors that fully retract to create an indoor/outdoor feel, allowing the ability to keep a close eye on pool activity. The large, leather sectional couch and several comfy recliners assure that every viewer has the perfect vantage point for the big game in front of the 70" flat screen TV. A wet bar with refrigerator and sink keeps entertaining convenient.
The active life is meant to be enjoyed here. Play Bocce Ball, serve up a fast paced game of volleyball, or bat the "birdie" around for a more relaxed game of Badminton. For those with a more relaxed view of life, sitting by the outdoor fire pit, or reading a book under the apple tree is a welcome alternative. Venture a few minutes outside the neighborhood and enjoy some local's favorites like “Java Station” for an early morning eye-opening espresso, or pop in for a country line dancing lesson at “The Creekside”, another “fan favorite”!
Local hiking trails and a nearby bike path add to the many options for adventure from this wonderful vacation retreat. And remember, this is Santa Barbara, so a trip to the beach is a must. Hop on the scenic Hwy 154 (San Marcos Pass) and head up to Santa Ynez Valley for some wine tasting or to stroll the streets of Solvang to enjoy a true Danish experience. Downtown Santa Barbara is a quick 10-minute drive.
