This ski vacation was a first for my family. We fell in love with the apartments location and layout. Beaver Creek indeed is everything we were told. I do recommend this apt to everybody. We liked it so much that we plan to return again. Everything is walking distance. The apt is very well equipped and the management was very helpful. The restaurants were exceptional. The grooming of the ski slope daily is a very big plus. You don't realize it till you visit another slope where it is not done. We obviously went to the ski schools and found the instructors to be excellent. The ski in ski out is also very helpful considering walking in ski boots is very uncomfortable. Thanks again, we had an excellent experience.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This is our second stay in the Strawberry Park condos at Beaver Creek, and I really cannot imagine why would stay anywhere else now. This unit was very nice with good linens and beds, all the available pots and pans, wine glasses, etc that you need. Good coffee pot. Nice stereo/DVD/sound dock in living room and TVs hooked to Cable in each bedroom. Strawberry Park condos themselves have been nicely maintained over the years, especially the common areas. The hallways have a nice, rich red patterned carpet, antique skis, and "vintage" Beaver Creek ski posters. The steam room is the salvation for my skin and dryed out sinuses. NIce indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. (Jets on hot tub could use some work by maintenance.)The workout room is large and has free weights. There are ski lockers and the nearby ski lift if you want to leave out of here. Otherwise, just walk out the front door and you are right where the parking lot buses drop off. Favorite restaurants - for lunch you cannot beat the Dusty Boot and Blue Moose Pizza or even Beaver Crepes. Worth skiing down for good food and not fighting the crowds in Spruce Saddle. Dinner this time at: the new Metropolitan was fantastic! Small plates tapas and nice cocktail list. Ate at the Italian place right beside the Ice Rink (name escpaes me) and I would say only OK though good wine list. But even then, the staff was great and I was too beat to go down to Avon. Golden Eagle Inn was again a slam dunk for dinner. This place is such a great find! We always hit the Gas House on our way back to the airport for ribs. But, they have a great menu with varieties of oysters, trout, elk, etc. Love their taragon vinaigrette. And even their nachos and wings are good. Long history of solid food! Snow was fantastic. Beaver Creek service outstanding as always. Ski school for our 4 year old worth every penny. Been coming to Beaver Creek for almost 30 years now!Owner response: I can hear the love in your words! I feel the same way about Beaver Creek. It is an excellent resort for skiing and the summers are even better for me. There are plenty of family friendly activities to do all year long and the dining options really are impressive. Next time you go to Beaver Creek try Larkspur Restaurant in neighboring Vail for fine dining or try Tagueria No Se Hagan Bolas down below in Avon for authentic no fuss cheap tacos! I'm glad that you found the accommodations acceptable. We have tried to make it so that you really have everything you need; including wi-fi internet and a printer. Thank you for your review and please stay at unit 419 again soon!

Very close to the village and slopes. Pool was fun for the kids (we did not pull the outside cover off) Hot tube was nice. Furnishing was a bit dated. Master bed creaked some. missing some of the ammenities we had last year at this property including samples of washing machine detergent. Towels ran out by next to last day. Over all was adequate to our needs. This unit lacked a few of the perks we had in out unit last year, but all in all was a great time and would most likely stay in this property again due to ease of access of the village and the slopes.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: I'm glad you will consider visiting this unit again! Indeed, our property is very convenient, as it is across the street form the village, but without all of the noise from the busy village center (only about two minutes away). We find that having the Strawberry Lift behind the building and the Beaver Creek Medical Center in the building is also an added plus. Since, this is a residential complex it does lack some of the amenities expected form a hotel, but, in addition to the initial housekeeping service, we do offer the option of adding extra housekeeping, linen changes, and towel changes for an additional fee. We opted for traditional furniture in order to keep a cabin feel when updating the unit in 2007 and strive to make cleanliness our priority. All in all, we hope that you found the resort and the unit a desirable location to visit again in the very near future. Thank you for being our guest!

Beautiful Condo, Fantastic Location!

Our family of 5 stayed here for five nights during spring break. The location can't be beat. It is directly across the street from the main walkway through the Village. It is truly ski in/ski out. There is a lift right outside the building and if you want to take the Centennial lift up the main mountain, it is a three minute walk or skate across a ski bridge. The condo has three beautiful showers and a very nice kitchen. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room were a 30 second walk down the hall. The parking and ski lockers are very convenient. There is nice library of movies (although we didn't have time to watch them). We agree with the review that recommended the Golden Eagle Inn for a nice meal. We had a very nice meal there. We also got some very good pizza from the Blue Moose. The staff at Vail Realty were extremely pleasant and accomodating. The only drawback to the condo is that it's close proximity to the heart of the Village and the mountain results in some slight noise at night, but this is a small price to pay for such a fantastic condo in such a convenient location.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: I am very pleased that you had an enjoyable vacation and that you found the unit to your liking. Your comments are very much appreciated and helpful. Thank you!

Additionally, the proximity to Beaver Creek village was one block, and I really can't say that it would have been any better to have been closer to the lifts as things were a bit more quiet at night, away from the late night revelers on the hotel balconies around the skating rink. The condo had plenty of things to do for the kids at night (big screen tv, games, books, etc.) and the kitchen was perfect for making breakfast, lunch and dinner.Did you find this review helpful? Our family stayed at Strawberry Park in August 2011 and had an amazing time. Sharon Pedrosa did a great job helping us set up our trip, the condo, as well as various activities before we arrived. The Condo was exactly as described and in excellent condition when we arrived. Everything was in working order and there was plenty of room for our family.Did you find this review helpful? We have visited Beaver Creek a number of times and found this condo to be a great experience. The location is convenient to the village and is truly a ski in/ski out via the Strawberry Lift. The condo is nicely furnished and on the floor that leads to the ski lockers and ski in/out door. The pool and hot tub are right down the hall. The building is clean, well maintained and all round a great stay. There is a good view of the slopes from the balcony window. The three bathrooms are handy and ensure that no one had to wait. The walk over to the skating rink area is only minutes. I would definitely recommend this condo to family and friends, just hope they don't book it when we want to go back.Owner response: It's truly a pleasure to learn that you too are enjoying our home in Beaver Creek. I am pleased that you found the condo convenient and that you plan on staying at this unit again. I look forward to watching out for your next booking inquiry! Thank you for your great review!

The unit has a great location in Beaver Creek with easy access to Strawberry Park lift and is a true ski in/ski out location. Unit has a wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood on the deck, so we could enjoy a nice fire on the snowy days we had during our visit. Although the unit has no bathtub, it has a great layout with plenty of room. Kitchen is well equipped. Unit was clean when we arrived. A plumbing issue was resolved during our stay with quick service call setup by the on-site management person. We were there for 10 days and would recommend more toilet paper be placed in unit for a longer stay such as ours. It was easy to enjoy Beaver Creeks many amenities from our unit. Project has a great hot tub, sauna, and pool. Fitness room is a bit small for those who don't get their exercise on the slopes. All in all, it was a great place to stay and we will definitely be back next year since we found this gem!!!!Owner response: Thank you for your favorable review! I am happy that you enjoyed our home in Beaver Creek Colorado. When remodeling the property, we felt most guests would find the master bathroom's double shower with wall jets and seating benches more convenient than a tub. However, I hope that you took advantage of the outdoor hot tub by the pool deck; it's fantastic year round. We appreciate all of your feedback and will continue to find ways to improve the property. I look forward to your visit very soon!

The Strawberry Park condos facility is really nice. We used every part of it. I sat in the steam room every morning, we used the pool, the gym, the ski in-ski out. I LOVE that you can walk everywhere you need. The condo itself is really well done. The beds are wonderful, the showers are nice, the lay out is warm and welcoming. It was a completely wonderful vacation and I cannot imagine why I would stay anywhere else if we were in Beaver Creek. One side note...we are kind of foodie people...our best meal was at the Golden Eagle Inn. I cannot believe how delicious the food was there. Check out the menu and the reviews on line. Good for kids but would also be a great place to go if you don't have any.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Jessica, I am thrilled that you enjoyed our Beaver Creek home as much as we do. It is a joy to share such a wonderful property with another family and know that you were able to create great memories too! I hope that you will stay at our place again. If you ever have question, know that it is my pleasure to answer them. Thanks for your review! Best wishes for future vacations, Sharon

Location
Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We reside in south Florida and enjoy the warm climate, the cultural diversity the area offers and life in a state surrounded by water. Our days off are usually spent boating with family and friends and traveling.
Why the Owner Chose Strawberry Park:
Equally, we find beauty in other states and Colorado is one of our favorites. We have visited several key cities in Colorado but fell in love with Beaver Creek Mountain and Resort at our first visit. Investing in a second home at the Beaver Creek Resort has provided our family a great escape from the hustle and bustle of life in a big city and many beautiful memories to last a lifetime.
Our children's favorite "thing to do" at our condo has to be roasting marshmallows at the fireplace while drinking hot chocolate. Just the mention of it, makes them smile. Dad enjoys eating a nice bowl of hot chili at the mountain restaurants and non stop skiing from the moment the lifts open until they close and staff has to kick him out! He just can't get enough. Mom loves Colorado summers and her friends are tired of hearing her say this. She enjoys scenic motorcycle rides, white water rafting, hiking and breezy evenings at a local rodeo.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The condo's location is the biggest benefit. The building is ski-in/ski-out and that's a big plus. It is also a very short walking distance to all the other lifts. The unit has three full bathrooms, as well a two Queen size beds in the second bedroom; which makes it very comfortable when sharing it with a large group. Another added bonus is that the local Medical Center is located in the building which can be a "life saver"!
