  Words can not describe the amazing experience we had staying at Sandi & Steve's cottage in the Wine Country. They are both great hosts, and they went above and beyond what I was expecting and made us feel welcome in their cottage. The cottage itself is exactly as shown in the pictures online, and was so cozy, warm, and inviting. The bed was extremely comfortable, and it was so quiet out there that we got a great nights sleep both nights we were there. Sandi took us through a complete walk through of the home and showed us where everything was. There were plenty of clean, fresh towels and linens, and plenty of kitchen supplies including dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, etc if you want to go grocery shopping first and cook at the cottage. There is also DirecTV in the living room with a flat screen TV, but we never turned it on. After all, this is supposed to be a getaway from your day to day life, so stop and smell the flowers, roses, and the nearby citrus grove. Speaking of which, there are so many beautiful flowers outside on the property, and plenty of seating areas for you to sit back and enjoy a nice bottle of wine and bask in the beauty of the adjacent Wilson Creek winery vineyard. There is also a fireplace in the cottage and Sandi provided us with a log to use, but it was warm enough out that we didn't need a fire. The place has central AC/heat, but we never turned it on, it was very well insulated and stayed cool all day long even when it was almost 90 out. The only thing you won't find here is internet access - but there is excellent AT&T cell reception so I was able to get online using my phone with no issues. Honestly, I believe it's better not to have wi-fi because you are on a getaway trying to get away from your email and digital life, so it's best to leave all the technology toys at home. Sandi is also a dog lover, so this place is totally dog friendly. Their dog, Tux is such a sweet dog. If you want to go horseback riding one of the local companies picks you up right there next to the cottage. It's so close to all the wineries, you can definitely walk to Wilson Creek, and we also walked down to Weins, and you could probably also hit up Ponte and South Coast within walking distance. The place is truly magical, and I guarantee you will have a great time with your special someone or if you want to just getaway by yourself and escape all the noise in the world, go for it!

  My husband and I stayed at this lovely cottage with our black lab, Emma. The owners, Sandi and Steve, were wonderful and we really enjoyed spending time with them and their dog, Tux. The accommodations were just as described and we found the little cottage to be beyond our expectations. You cannot beat the location and it is literally on the vineyards! Very clean and well stocked. All you need to bring is a toothbrush. We will be back again soon!

  We knew that Wine Cpuntry Cottage was a great choice as soon as we arrived. The cottage was just as pictured on the web page. It was clean, comfortable and roomy. It is a great home away from home. The location was prefect for us. Temecula is centrally located between betwwen San Diego & LA, a perfect Southern Calafornia get away. There was so much to do very close by as well. There were hot air balloons and horse back riding right next door, not to mention the many vineyards to tour as well as Old Town Temecula and a cassino. Steve and Sandi were wonderful and friendly. They helped us out answering our questions, recomending attractions, and were great neighbors. I will recommended Steve & Sandi's cottage to any friends traveling to Southern California.   Clean, comfortable, and in the heart of Temecula wine country. The owners were very friendly and our stay was wonderful. We will return! Tip: If you can swing it, get car service and a driver to take you to the wineries in the area. It's really the way to fully enjoy a couple's wine tasting experience without concern.

  This is a perfect little cottage, located in Temecula Wine Country. Charming accomodations, sincerely friendly hosts, Steve and Sandi, close to vineyard wine tasting and dining. Very clean, well stocked with linens, toiletries, dishes, on a meticulously landscaped property, with great views. We would stay here again! Thank you Steve & Sandi, Tux and Taylor ;)

  A perfect getaway for us. We enjoyed the location right in the center of Wine Country. Also very close to Temecula. Charming cute cottage with nice views, places outside to sit & relax or read. Quiet country setting. Everything we needed for a lovely week. We also apprciated the neat manicured lawn and the overall cleanliness. Thanks to our friendly hosts - Sandi & Steve!

  My wife and I were visiting family in Temecula and didn't want to stay in a hotel. We found this on the web and so glad we did. It is a wonderful cottage and the owners, who live on the same property, are very friendly and helpful. The only reason I would tell you to not stay here is if we wanted to be there at the same time!
