  My family stayed at this property last month. There is not anything the home does not have. It is wonderful for young children, families. The property is beautiful, three pools, and beautiful beach. The beach is no problem to get to with bikes and two golf carts. Wonderful life guard at beach to take care of you and rent chairs from. The weather was not the best for us, but we would sit out back in the sun, great back yard for the kids to play in the sand, also can enjoy the screened in porch. Home comes with lots of sand toys, tv in all the bedrooms, and GREAT library selection. Quiet outside and children can be out front playing in driveway without worries of traffic. Just great home for large family, plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need, we really liked having an ice machine. Owner has wonderful taste in decorating. Owner has the home set up for renters to come to property and get in with code to door, which we realized was wonderful when we saw the long lines at the big rental agency and check in easy with giving paper work to security when drive in. We had great time and hope to be back next year.

  Our family stayed at this property for a week and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had! The property met every need - and then some. You can tell the owners really care for those staying at their house. It's as if they anticipated every situation that might come up and provided for it. The house itself is beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and neat perks in every room. We loved having BOTH carts so part of the family could run to the beach while the other family members played tennis or went to the pool. We were close enough to the restaurants and stores but a little removed from the "tourist" feel you have when staying right in the midst of all the condos. The Wildlife Refuge behind the house was a bonus. No houses behind you - just a little land to do some exploring. The two pools were nicely maintained and we enjoyed both of them. Chris was great to deal with - not some "management company" but a real guy that was on top of things and seemed like he'd handle anything that went wrong - but we never did have any problems. Overall - AWESOME!! If we can pull off another vacation soon, the kids have voted - BACK TO FORT MORGAN AT CASA PLAYA!!!

  Chris - Thanks for working with us to book your awesome house in Martinique! I believe you have accurately described the property and we were pleasantly surprised that it was more beautiful and accommodating than the pictures and description had depicted. This trip included a group of moms and our high school seniors. We have been taking this trip for the past 10 years, so our kids have grown up spending Fall Break at the beach. I heard several of the kids comment that this was the "best" Fall Break ever!:) The layout of the house has bedding on each floor and is perfect for all different ages and bedtimes. I can honestly say that (with our door closed) we did not hear the kids who stayed up all hours of the night playing video games, watching movies and in general "being loud". We had rain the first two days and the moms thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on the covered front porch, squealing at the sight of tree frogs, drinking our morning coffee and catching up on past due gossip! On the third day when the sun appeared...we loaded up on the golf carts and zipped down to the breathtaking beach. Some had been apprehensive about having to travel to the beach on four wheels but this actually turned into a fun daily joy ride. It was so easy to wheel down to the parking lot and unload right at the pool. The beach was just a stroll down the boardwalk with very little distance left to walk through the sand and put your feet into the beautiful clear aqua ocean waves! Martinique is the first beach rental neighborhood that you reach when traveling out Fort Morgan Road. So, it is the quickest for returning to town at night for dinner and entertainment. Gulf Shores has really thrived in the past few years following the destruction of "Ivan"; everything just seems new, clean and well-kept. Shopping @ the Wharf is incredible and the local restaurant waiters and waitresses are almost always very accommodating and much more friendly than the ones we have encountered in Florida (just across the Alabama border). I highly recommend the area and Casa Playa in particular. For the price, it cannot be beat! We have already booked a trip for next year and look forward to spending our Fall Break at Casa Playa...for the record, this is our first time EVER to re-book at the very same property!

  We were so happy to go back to Martinique after 5yrs. We loved the house, it felt like home. It was a very relaxing trip. We visited some of our favorite spots and tried some new ones too. We went to the Fort Morgan, LuLu's, The Hangout, Cosmo's, Hope's, Louisiana Laniappe and of course putput and go-carts. Having two golf carts was fantastic. With a teenage boy and a 10 yr old girl it was great to be able to spit up and have fun apart as well as together. Everyone agreed we needed more time to stay. Thank you for being so helpful, I will recommend your home to my friends. And thank you for allowing us to share your home, we look forward to our return.

  Casa Playa has a perfect layout for a large family or 2 families of 4. The upstairs "Crowes Nest" is a very large bedroom with a bunk bed that the smaller kids loved. All appliances are are "top notch" and having a seperate ice maker is a HUGE plus. The dual golf carts are very handy and there are enough beach toys already there that we didn't even need to bring our own. The Martinique beach community is all we were hoping for and then some. The 2 pools were never very busy and the beaches were not crowded at all. Our family has spent several vacations at Gulf Shores, but this was our first time to stay at Martinique. I can honestly say that I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else. You can have all of the crowded high-rise condos that you want, give me Casa Playa and Martinique any day. It is so nice to be in a gated community that is not crowded, slow-paced, and very relaxing.

  We had such an excellent time at Casa Playa! This was our first stay at this wonderful property and it is by far our favorite in Martinique. The two golf carts were so convenient-my husband could go out and fish in the morning and then my children and I could take the other one to the pool-we didn't have to wait on each other to do whatever we wanted to do. We try to stay in Maritnique every summer and have rented several properties and they have all been very nice but Casa Play exceeded our expectations and delivered. The best part was that when we left it was easy check out-no doing all the linen laundry and and stripping the beds-we just cleaned up after ourselves and got on our way-so low stress. Thanks for renting you great home and we look forward to coming back to CasaPlaya!

  Chris, I wanted to let you know we had a great time at the Martinique last week! We had fantastic weather-better than here where it was 105 or more!! And the house was perfect for what our two families needed. The two golf carts and ice maker were a definite plus compared to other houses we have rented. Not sure what our plans for next year will be yet but we will definitely keep your home in mind. Thanks again, Joann

  Absolutely awesome experience at Casa Playa! The 8 of us-G ma, me and hubby, and 5 teens picked this house because of the phenomenal amenities the house and neighborhood offered. The home is decorated beautifully-every room! The screened in porch was so nice to listen to the frogs chatter in the little moat right next to the house. One of the biggies for me was the BIG dining room table we could all fit around and play cards and eat. We had a little hiccup with a golf cart and Chris the owner was spot on taking charge and getting it all worked out for us immediately. We can't tell you how easy and nice Chris was to work with-Go Chris! The pools were nice and the ocean is just a quick golf cart ride away-and with 2 golf carts you can load up all the great beach chairs and umbrella that Casa provides-the garage is full of everything you could ask for. If you go out to eat-go early! If you go shop-hit the hippie store, kinda neat; Alvins has best t shirts and we loved wondering around the purple octopus! The Tanger Outlet mall-about 20mins or so away had a lot better deals and more stores than our's in South Missouri. Great vaca-we will be back! You can't go wrong with this place...very well maintained, gated, safe neighborhood and excellent owner to work with!
