I would highly recommend Jasmine Hill villa to anyone looking for a great getaway, relaxing holiday or an island adventure. You'll need a car to navigate to/from this property and the rest of the island. The property is very private, sitting at the end of a promontory and offers such beautiful vistas! It has calmness about it that one can only just sit back and relax. All pictures truly do match the amenities provided at the house. We enjoyed the pool with the gorgeous views of the clear blue ocean and we relaxed every evening under the patio !!! It was very clean and the housekeeper who came in the middle of the week made our stay comfortable. The villa was sprayed with bugs repelant and none of us were bitten there. EM and her husband (the owners), Jim and Madeleine, (our neighbors and EM sister) made us a very warm welcome, and were very helpful with great advices to discover the island. We ordered a basic groceries basket (meat, pasta, fruits for the 1st evening and coffee, milk, orange juice, butter jam and toasts for the next morning). We really appreciated that everything was stocked and fresh upon our arrival. We spent most days exploring the different beaches around Antigua. Half Moon Beach and Rendez-Vous Bay were the nicest beaches we found on the island. It was about a 15-20 minute drive from the Villa. We also went to Stingray City (it is located just 2 minutes driving from the villa) and really enjoyed it! The island offers sailing, fishing, kayaking, and golf not to mention so many other activities. All of us (4 adults and 2 children 10 & 6) only complaint being at Jasmine Villa is that a week was not enough!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1977
About the owner: We have lived in Antigua for 33 years. Our children grew up here, with the sea playing a huge role in their lives.
Why the Owner Chose Indian Town Point:
This is one of the nicest areas on the island, with cooling breezes, green hillsides and occasional villages. We are in a quiet situation, offering a peaceful sojourn for our guests. A sunset drink around the pool followed by dinner al fresco is a most enjoyable way to end your days.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
We have a our own swimming pool, with a standard depth of 4'8" - no diving 27 ft long and 14ft wide. It is set in one and a half acres of private mature gardens, with wonderful sea views on three sides. This eastern side of Antigua is cool with sunset views on the western side of the property. Ideal for pool and lunch parties at the dining table on the pool verandah. We have also very successfully held weddings here, and Antigua is a noted 'wedding' destination. There is a great deal of yachting acitivity on the island and the last week in April is given over to Antigua Sailing Week, attended by some of the wor ld's most famous yachts. We are about 15 minutes drive from English Harbour where the yachts moor, and during the winter months an evening drive there to see the moored yachts and to have dinner at one of the many good restaurants in the area is a wonderful way to spend an evening. For the more adventurous it is possible to hire small rental yachts for a day's sailing. There are several good round-the-island day tours both by car and boat, well worth taking. Deep sea fishing, para-sailing, scuba diving, golf are a few of the pastimes on offer. There is a very good boat eco-tour on offer from Antigua Adventures - not only is it a good sight-seeing experience but it offers a wealth of information about the island, the sea, and all the creatures in it. There are two duty free shopping areas in St. John's with good clothing jewellery lines available. The first is Heritage Quay, and the second Redcliffe Quay, which is a little colony of traditional style Antigua buildings housing the various shops. There is also a pony club, situated near to English Harbour.
It is possible to access most popular outdoor activities in Antigua.
