  This is by far the best place we have ever stayed!! Mick & Desi are fantastic & it was like being welcomed home while on vacation. We loved the welcome basket & the cottage was beautiful!!! We had planned a one time visit just to get away, but have decided we will return to visit again..Thank you for such a pleasant experience & for making our visit so relaxing!!! Can't wait to see y'all again next year!!!

  From the beautiful curb appeal to the well appointed relaxing interior, we are ready to downsize and rent here permanently. The home was spotless. It was tastefully renovated and furnished with a carefree feel. We looked forward to coming home after a day out. The amenities were more than expected. Desi and Mick made us feel right at home in every way. The "kids" were such a welcome as well. Our Lucy enjoyed her trip to Honeymoon Island dog beach and lizard hunting whenever possible. We look forward to extending our stay on our future trip. Thanks for the great memories..............

  We absolutely loved the Cottage, Safety Harbor and our very gracious hosts! Desi and Mick have created a charming and perfect home away from home for a getaway or longer stay. The cottage is everything one could hope for: comfortable and very clean, and Desi has it stocked with basic necessities for arrival - OJ, half and half, coffee etc.. The Cottage is in a very walkable neighborhood, easy stroll to the little downtown area & Harbor and for those with children there is a great playground in town as well. Our visit to Safety Harbor was to see the area for possible relocation and we found just what we were looking for - it is close enough to beaches and city life for vacationers or as a place to call home, yet it has a tranquil and charming small town feel. We wish we could have stayed longer - we were sad to leave, but hope to return when the time comes to look for a home. Guests could not ask for more gracious hosts or a more comfortable Cottage. Thank you, Desi, Mick and pups for a wonderful stay! (we think Jackie and Rosie miss the cottage - they loved being on one floor, no stairs!)

  This cottage was completely redone & updated to the latest appliances and furnishings in 2011. Cottage has plush furniture and linens, Two big screen HDTVs with full cable hook up. Owners toss in welcome fruit & snack basket. Lovely screened in patio catches beautiful breezes. Master bath has overhead rain shower as well as regular shower head. Stainless steel appliances, plush bedding. Exceeded expectations in all respects. Owners live next door & are very helpful with recommendations. Cleanliness is impeccable. Walking distance to a plethora of restaurants, both casual and fancy. Located in quaint, ecletic village of Safety Harbor. A great value; much better than any unit on Hilton Head. Highly recommended by seasoned traveler.

  We were so comfortable in this charming home. It is so beautifully appointed and cozy. The kitchen was thoughtfully set up so that every convenience is available whether you are cooking for two or entertaining a party. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the screened-in porch and reading there in the early evening. Desi and Mick are the ultimate hosts and were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, beaches, and more. We enjoyed exploring Safety Harbor and walked everywhere. We only used our car to purchase groceries and for excursions outside Safety Harbor. We have already reserved for next year. We highly recommend this property.

  We were so impressed with this cottage from the landscape down to the sheets on the very comfortable bed. The decor and layout of the cottage is sooo very tastful ,it made it hard to leave. The town of Safety Harbor is quaint and quiet, loved the small town feel without the hustle and bustle, but yet a few minutes from the best beaches. Mick and Desi are very good hosts and go the distance to make you feel welcomed.We will for sure be back for this best kept secret vacation home.Kudos on all this place has to offer. Al and Sue

  We loved the house and the town of Safety Harbor. It is centrally located to all of the major attractions from Clearwater Beach to Busch Gardens. We have rented several vacation homes over the past 10 years and this is one of our favorites. Mick and Desi have gone beyond and above all expectations to make this an extremely comfortable and charming home. We will definitely stay with them again on our return trip to the Tampa area.
