Location: Dorado, Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico, Caribbean (20 miles west from San Juan Airport)

Accommodations:  Home, 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 5-13)

We have two rentals in our home on the ocean. The main floor unit has two bedrooms, full kitchen, one bath, living room, and deck. It can sleep five; two in each of the queen-size beds and one in the twin-size rollaway.

The unit upstairs has one bedroom, living room, full kitchen, one-and-one-half baths, two balconies, and a roof-top terrace. This unit can sleep five; two in the queen-size bed in the bedroom, two in the full-size rollaway, and one in the twin rollaway.

Both units are about 1200 square feet with a private entrance and use of a shared washer and dryer and front porch area. We also have a basement bedroom apartment with a private bath and entrance that has a queen-size bed, a twin bed, TV with a VCR, couches, micro
wave, little fridge, 2 large fans, table & chairs, hair dryer & an
a/c unit-

Our home is not in a resort but in a safe local neighborhood with long-term professional neighbors. We have finished building new steps
down to the beach plus have added a cement bar bq- We are on a 70-foot by 90-foot lot that is fenced. Our managers are a sweet local couple that live nearby.there is a surfer beach a block away plus many, many
other beaches in the area. Hey guys-we are a beach house--not the
Ritz-Please do not expect perfection-We just had a problem with some guests who shopped around for the cheapest vacation home for what we offer in puerto rico-then they got upset that there was a power outage & sometimes low water pressure-sometimes you may not have hot water if there is no sun (solar)-maybe you may hear some construction noise-you might see a bug-you might see some dirt-this is the caribbean-things like this happens-go & pay the price at a hotel if you can't handle an occasional problem-in other words, if you are fussy, you will not like us-we are clean but not spotless-the ocean breeze brings in a lot of dirt-being on the ocean rusts & deteriorates things very quickly-but staying on the ocean is awesome-the sound of the waves lull you to sleep-we are planning on moving to this paradise of puerto rico-there has been some construction started but has been stopped(permit problem)-we just want people to have the proper expectation of our home-
we have a no smoking policy for the comfort of our future guests-



Our home is a ten-minute drive to world-class golf, beautiful hotels, and very central to the island's many tourist attractions-
We have a 7 night minimum & 5 nights if you take both units-we feel
that we are the best value on the island for what we offer-the $100
price is per unit & not for the entire home-if you need to sleep
13, the rate is $250 a night for the whole house-

  • we are very Centrally Located, we are 20 miles from San Juan and the Airport (all highway), Local Shopping and Restaurants are a five-minute drive, World-class Golfing and Two Beautiful Hotels are a ten-minute drive, we want to stress that we are not in a private resort or gated community where you would be paying $300-$600/night, our home is for people who want to Experience the Real Puerto Rico, we do not have roosters next door(block away) but we do have an occasional dog barking at the moon, you get what you pay for, you will have a wonderful vacation without spending a lot-

Personal Currency Assistant™

$100/night/unit (christmas .. $125/night/unit), which includes Electricity, Water,
Cable, Air Conditioning, Local Phone Calls, Washer, Dryer, & Taxes.
The Basement Bedroom (if needed) is an additional $50/night.
We have a Seven-Night Minimum.  There is a Fully-Refundable $500 Security/Damage
Deposit per unit mailed back right after you leave our home.
There is an $100 Cleaning Charge per unit if you do not wish to clean.
If you leave the unit as clean as you found it (laundry done also), there is
no cleaning fee; you come to a clean home & leave a clean home.

    We had a wonderful stay in your home. We liked the location, the waves and their sound... We did not use the air con, always slept with the doors and the windows opened. Denis and I slept on the small beds in the living room. We went to Liquilla beach once (and back to Dorado in the 5 o'clock traffic in San Juan (crazy!!), Cerro Gordo Park twice. Visited Old San Juan, Bacardi (a must...). Did not go to Vieques, too far. As I wrote before, we spent hours on the veranda, looking at planes, ships, surfers. We saw a whale coming out and going in the sea an entire afternoon! Dorado is a nice place with plenty of services. You have a nice house, very pleasant and quiet . We kept it clean as we do for our home. Finally, it was a beautiful week. Have a good day! Monique

    We truly enjoyed your home and we plan on returning very soon! We are leaving here in a bit and will leave/clean it as good or better than we found it. I also am leaving behind two good surf fishing poles and some other fishing gear, all that is lacking is line and reels. Please let your guests know that they are now here for them to use but to leave them behind as we plan on coming back to use them again! Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Puerto Rico was great. we spent our days navigating the island going on various adventures and creating lifelong memories. We enjoyed Culebra and and our nighttime kayaking tour in the Bioluminescent Bay... the best out of Fajardo.

    Our vacation was FABULOUS - we loved being able to visit PR and see the old sights, we loved going on our excursions but the highlight of our trip was just being in your beautiful home. We could sit and stare at the waves for hours :) We will have problems sleeping with out the sound of waves hehe :) The weather was perfect the entire trip and we only lost power at the house on the VERY last night for about 15 minutes hehe the candles were great to have at hand - the place is even prettier by candle light!

    Hi Diana, The trip was great. I love Puerto Rico (I think it's my new second home!) We didn't do a whole lot, but we've been there before. We did find the show on our own and it was right there in Dorado - it must be new. My husband thinks the beach was great. Overall, it was a very relaxing trip, I thank you for the use of your home - it was very comfortable.
