  • Family Friendly

"We arrived to Puerto Rico on the 7/14. We made our way to the gated security, provided our ID's and were greeted with smiles, gate opener, house key & parking info. Made our way up the stairs to the Villa. Master bedroom was prfect, bed was comfy and the Air Conditioning worked really well! We also had our own bathroom, which made getting ready in the morning a piece of cake with our 12 and 17 year olds. The kids bunked together in the room with 2 twin beds. Night 1 we went to downtown San Juan which was about 20 minutes away. Everyone was so friendly and the views are amazing! The second day we went exploring the fort and hit the beach "Playa de Luquillo" for live Caribbean lobster meal from the 1st kiosk "La Parilla" And on the way home we stopped by the store "amigo" to pick up some steaks, clams and ingredients for salsa and ceviche. Having our own private terrace was amazing! It came complete with a hammock, water faucet, tables, chairs & bbq grill! The next morning my sister, her husband and their 3 year old daughter joined us. They took the last bedroom and all slept comfy in their bed. The beds were soft, plenty of pillows and blankets, and of course the AC was working well the entire time in all rooms! The following days we hit the local beach's, escambre, siete Mares (great for kids snorkeling, you don’t even need goggles – we seen so many fishes just through the clear water) we took a drive to Rincon where the waves were stronger (about 2 hours by car) and the kids enjoyed surfing and watched baby turtles hatching in the sand! Rincon is definitely a different pace of life from the usually down town San Juan, slightly different food- better in my opinion and super-fast service compared to the 1-2 hour dinner experiences we had in San Juan. We hit the rainforest one day, go during the week because weekends are nutts and there is NO parking- literally no parking! The Camuy River Cave Park was fun and we learned some cool things $4 -$6 to enter. The last day we booked an excursion to Culebra. There are 3 options to get there; ferry, boat, small plane. The ferry dock is about an hour away from the villa, which was perfect! The villa is a great location for everything fun to do in PR! PLUS there's a drive thru Starbucks down the street! Bring plenty of bug spray, it's an island so no avoiding them! I have to say, having the fridge, microwave, stove, washer dryer and private villa made all the difference! 2 thumbs up, highly recommended for families!!!"

  • "Warning, family vacation in progress"

"My father passed away in Dec. and we talked about taking a trip to Puerto Rico. My whole family got together and Diane graced us with a beautiful place to stay! The house was more than we imagined. The decor was amazing, creating this wonderful ambience for our family to gather. Diane was a great hostess and gave us some incredible tips! Diane also took a few family photos, which again was one of the many ways she showed her hospitality and generosity. The views and location were outstanding. We would highly recommend this "casita". With a view. Thanks again Diane!"

  • High expectations were exceeded!!!

"After looking at hundreds of properties on vrbo I kept coming back to Diane's property in Dorado. The reviews for the home and Diane's helpfulness were spot on! I don't think our vacation home could have been any better. Diane's home has everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The bbq in the back allowed for many meals at the house and the supermarket is just down the road. During our trip three different families were brought together and never once did we feel crowded. The beach is only a few steps away and with Diane's kayaks and golf cart we were entertained all week! Dorado is only a short drive from San Juan and other Puerto Rican attractions. I can't say enough wonderful things about this home... give it a chance and you will not be disappointed."

  • Spring Break Vacation

"My family and I along with a family friend spent our Spring Break here. The apartment was just as advertised, clean and well-maintained. Jeff and Yvonne were very easy to work with. It was a plus to have beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler all at our disposal. Tip: shop Walmart just minutes down the road instead of the grocery store...much cheaper. Downfall: elevator had just gone out, something Jeff could not have foreseen. But it did give us our daily exercise."
