  Andy met us with a smile even though our plane arrived late. His place is cute, clean and quiet. The pool area was our favorite very peaceful and warm with cats wandering around which we loved. The unit was very close to the beach where we rode deco bikes along the boardwalk. Would definitely recommend to a couple looking for a place to stay close to the beach but not too close to the partying.

  Andy kindly made arrangements for me to get into the unit early when he was unable to be there because of a class he was teaching. When he arrived, he went the extra mile to show me around the unit and the property to be sure I knew where things were. And when I inquired about decent lunch places in the neighborhood, he walked me to a nice Middle Eastern restaurant and had lunch with me. Andy also texted me additional restaurant suggestions for lunch and dinner. I felt welcomed and well-taken care of on my arrival. The unit was clean, well set up, and perfect for a single person needing a place to retreat to after a full day of training. I did notice the noise level increasing over the weekend - both traffic from the main road a couple of blocks away and neighbors partying a bit. During the week, I slept well at night; over the weekend, I had a bit of trouble falling asleep. One caveat - I live in a rainforest where it is absolutely silent and dark at night so this undoubtedly had some impact on my adjusting to the noise level in Miami Beach. Thank you, Andy, for being such a wonderful host and making your sweet unit available to travelers from far away.

  We stayed at the apartment during a weekend and are very satisfied with the experience. The owner is very friendly and really cared for us. The location is excellent, very good neigbourhood, the apartment clean and nice, you have everything you need. We will definitely come back!

  This is a terrific location and a chic and clean studio. My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend in Miami Beach. The location was close and within walking distance to most everything we wanted to do. Everything we needed was in the apartment and Andy was very attentive. When I inquired about a blow dryer he went out and purchased one for my arrival. We will definitely be back!

  We stayed 2 persons at The Mantell Plaza, and it was great. We had everything we needed in the studio, and the surroundings are nice and quiet. Andy was very easy to get in touch with, and he was there when we arrived. Taking the price and location into consideration, this is perfect for a great South Beach vacation! Will definitely be back.

  This was a great find. Andy is a very accommodating host; he even bought new beach chairs after I inquired if he had any. He is pleasant to deal with and gave us very good restaurant recommendations. Andy, it would be good if you would print up a list that could be left in the apartment. The apartment is compact, but fine for a couple or two people who really like each other (I was traveling with my sister) even though it technically sleeps three. It has a nice little kitchen area with coffee maker, so you can do some meal preparation if you want to save a little money that way. It was clean and attractive, and is about a 4-minute walk to the beach; you really only have to cross one street. It is close to all the noise and activity in South Beach, but located in its own little quiet oasis. There are some lovely cultural attractions nearby--ballet, art museum, etc. We were lucky enough to be there for an outdoor symphony concert with fireworks! The only thing missing in my personal wish list was a reading lamp for the day bed. That might not matter to everyone, but that's something I really value. If I have the opportunity to travel back to Miami Beach, I'll go straight to Andy and not even bother with the hotels.

You should have asked me about the lighting while you were here. The switches by the bathroom operate the lights over the daybed and with the rheostats turned up, there is plenty of light to read by.   My husband and I had a beautiful and enjoyable stay. From the minute that we met, Andy condo owner, we knew that out stay will be perfect. Andy was helpful in answering our questions. To begin with; the rental is very conveniently located to all that South Miami is famous for, bus stop is one block away, supermarket is a five minute walk and Lincoln Rd. is few blocks away. Even though everything is close by, the building location is on a quiet street without traffic which makes for a restful night. The apartment is very charming with fully equipped kitchen, all that we had to do was add some groceries. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Even the bath towels feel thick and luxurious. I think a cliche "home away from home", perfectly describes this apartment. We enjoyed our stay in this apartment so much that we have already reserved the time for next year. That in itself should say a lot. Thank you Andy, see you next year!

  Great location, studio very well equiped, owner very attentive and prestative. I highly recommend this place, instead of hotel rooms nearby.
