Blue River Cabin is a cozy 4 bedroom and 2 bath home located just minutes from the Breckenridge lifts. The home is in a peaceful and secluded location with great mountain views. The Blue River runs right by the home. The home is on a paved road located about 2 minutes from Highway 9 which runs right into downtown Breckenridge. Restaurants and shopping can be found minutes away.
The cabin has 4 bedrooms. There are two bedrooms and one bath on the main level. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed. There is a third bedroom upstairs which is a private with with a private bathroom. This is also a queen size bed. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs and is a great hangout or the kids. It has a bunk bed with a double and a twin bed and also a trundle bed with two twins. There is a TV/game setup for them to enjoy as well. The home has a spacious living room with a very large sectional sofa that seats up to 8 people. There is a circular wood-burning fireplace in the center of the room. Firewood is provided for the guests. The living room has windows the length of the room with mountain and stream views.The kitchen is off of the living room and open to the dining room and living room. It is fully stocked with everything you will need for a great vacation. The dining table seats 6 people. The laundry room is located downstairs with a washer and dryer.
The outside of the home is a place you will certainly want to spend a lot of time. It has great mountain and river views. There is a gas grill and a picnic table to enjoy. This home is very secluded and off the beaten path yet very accessible to Highway 9 and Breckenridge. There is off the street parking for 2-3 cars with a very short and flat walk to the porch (only a few steps). We recommend 4-wheel drive this time of year as we get frequent and sometimes heavy snowfalls (great for skiing).
Breckenridge is a 5 star world-class ski resort with skiing and snowboarding. There is a ski school for the kids as well as tubing, cross country skiing, a roller coaster (yes in the winter too), and heli-skiing. There are dozens of great restaurants and bars for entertainment. There are also mine tours and sleigh rides in the winter.
Summer is also a fabulous time to visit Breckenridge. There is horse back riding, mountain climbing, mountain biking, and much more. Almost any outdoor activity you can think of is available.
