Martinique is a charming French Caribbean community and our home is located in one the best locations possible. Our home will allow you to feel far away from civilization by offering miles of beach to explore. Yet you've got free in-house access to WiFi, a computer and excellent access to the best amenities Gulf Shores has to offer. We can now offer a golf cart to licensed drivers for use within the community.
This charming two story, three bed, three full bath beach house offers close to 2000 square feet of living space, two porches, a balcony, and a convenient one car garage. This is an excellent location, close to Pool, Sauna, Beach and work-out room.
On the main level you’ll find a spacious living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with breakfast counter, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher and laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer. Living room area has TV/DVD/VCR/Surround Sound system, catch up on all those movies you've been meaning to rent.
In addition to the main living areas downstairs there is a guest suite with a full bath as well as a large screened back porch with access from the kitchen and bedroom.
Upstairs is the master suite and an additional guest room. The master suite has a generous master bath with large garden tub, separate glass enclosed shower, double vanity and separate commode room. The Master has a TV with DVD and VCR. Just off the master bedroom you’ll enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico from the second story balcony. The secondary bedroom upstairs has plenty of closet space and a large full bath.
Other attractive features include nine and 10 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, and lots of storage areas. Home includes a golf card, two (adult) bikes, beach chairs, umbrella's, sand toys, skim boards, kites and a BBQ grill.
Imagine more than a mile of pristine sugar sand beach with NO development, it is yours at Martinique!
Martinique adjoins the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge which offers 4000 acres of un-developed beach, dunes, marsh and wilderness on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. This coastal Refuge is part of the Central Gulf Ecosystem Unit and provides refuge for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle, the endangered American alligator, and the rare gopher tortoise.
Part of the migration route of the monarch butterfly, the Refuge is also known for its more than 120 species of birds - making it a paradise for bird watchers. Along with birding, the refuge offers opportunities for hiking, swimming, photography, collecting sea shells, and boating. Fishermen enjoy both fresh and saltwater fishing.

Bliss was a wonderful home to stay in on our visit to Fort Morgan. The location so close to the beach and pool was awesome. The kids enjoyed going to the other pool as well via the golf cart.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Words somehow fall short to describe the time we spent at Bliss this past spring. Heavenly, tranquil, majestical and just plain fun are some that were used frequently by our whole family. The house was so beautiful and accommodating. The proximity to the beach was an added bonus. We highly recommend the Bliss to anyone and we are looking forward to staying there next spring.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed at bliss over Spring Break. Bliis was just as described, actually the pictures dont really show how nice this house really is. The location of property is perfect, only 2 houses closer to beach & pool access. Home is well stocked from kitchen to beach gear. Owner was pleasant to work with. I would definetly rent this house again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had so much fun at Bliss! This is our 3rd year here and we fall more in love with this place each visit. Not only is the place immaculate, but its spacious and the best location in Martinique. We enjoyed the new golf cart too. Every evening after the kids got baths we did our nightly cruising around Martinique in P.J.s. The owners have this place completly stocked. They use the honor system for wine and movies and even have beach toys and kites for your use. We are hooked!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family (which included 4 young kids) enjoyed our experience at the Bliss house. It was clean and stocked well with the basic amenities. We loved how close it was to the pools and beach. The golf cart was lots of fun to drive around throughout the resort. We definitely recommend this house and resort.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
