Pinecone Cottage in Winter - Estes Park Cottage Rental This is a non-smoking, no pets facility. 1300 square foot historic miners' style cottage with the best views in Estes Park! The 1.78 acre lot is one of the largest vacation rental lots in Estes. Decorated in old world style with a modern flair. Perched on the mountainside with two large bedrooms. Spectacular panoramic 360 degree views cannot even be captured fully on film. 10 foot rock formation just behind cottage. Nighttime stars are unparalleled. You have the feeling of literally being surrounded by Rocky Mountains. Entire cottage is done in tongue and groove pine. Pinecone and pine tree theme throughout, with wood-burning stove in living room. Jacuzzi tub and skylight in master bath. Cable TV in 3 rooms with combo dvd/vcr. Growing collection of videos, DVD's, puzzles, and games. Master bedroom contains two queen sized log beds. Large upstairs loft/bedroom contains two queen sized log beds. We do not allow more than 6 people as the water supple is from a well and can serve this size group. The property is frequented by white tailed deer, mule deer, elk, hummingbirds, and coyote on a daily basis. We occasionally see bobcats and other wildlife. 5 Minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, 5 Minute drive to the Estes Park downtown and 1 minute drive to quiet Mary's Lake Recreation and Picnic area or a 10 minute walk.

VRBO Bear enjoys scaling the rocks at Pinecone Cottage VRBO Bear stayed here - 09/14/2007 - on site review: My GrandPaw used to say to me, “You need to get back to your roots from time to time.” So I decided to head up to Estes Park to stay in Pinecone Cottage. Pinecone Cottage is the only cottage located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. When I walked into the cottage, all I could say was, “Wow!” It was clean and beautiful, with pine walls and plenty of windows to see the awe-inspiring views. And I had my choice of six comfortable beds (and you know bears like to sleep soundly). The kitchen was so well equipped that one evening, I prepared dinner myself. To top it off, I went out on the deck to enjoy the perfect weather and spectacular views. After it got a little chilly, I retired indoors to the big, comfortable Jacuzzi tub. What perfection! Pinecone Cottage is five minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park where I went hiking, drove Old Fall River Road, and read a book by one of the many lakes. I also had plenty of opportunities to commune with my old friends, like the Elk, Deer, Pika and Hawk families! It is also only five minutes from downtown Estes Park, with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Whether hiking, shopping, eating, or just relaxing, Pinecone Cottage is a must for anyone.
