With the luxurious master suite with french doors to the heated pool and tray ceilings, this house works well for a romantic couple, or for a whole family because of it's four bedrooms and three full baths.
Here's dad's favorite part... the house comes with three kayaks with paddles and life jackets. You can use them in the lake or put them in the saltwater canals across the street and go fishing and exploring! The Ding Darling Wildlife refuge begins one block from this house! There is a little stream that winds out through the mangroves to open water that is a really fun adventure.
The house also has two adult mountain bikes and one kids bike (all three are new).

Why the Owner Chose Cape Harbour
SW Cape Coral has all newer homes and doesn't have the "hit and miss" look of the older areas. We're in the far corner of SW Cape Coral with little or no traffic, beautiful homes, and very close to Cape Harbour restaurants, shops, coffee, and yacht marina.
JUST ADDED A 52" BIG SCREEN HI DEF LCD TV. It's Awesome!!!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We race to the pool as soon as we arrive! It's a contest. Who can get in the pool first! We love the pool, the high ceilings, the light that reflects off the lake in the morning and fills every room in the house with bright natural light all day long. It's beautifully decorated. It's quiet, modern, clean, beautiful. We bike to Cape Harbour for ice cream and coffee.
Brad goes kayak fishing every morning when we're there. Winter or Summer I can catch snook. I troll a rattletrap or similar lure behind the kayak and paddle in the main canals near the docks. I get a strike about every 15 minutes on average. We take day trips to rent a boat on Pine Island, overnight trips to the Keys, (Chica Lodge, Islamorada!) day trips to Naples where we have family and love the beaches. We go shelling on Sanibel (45 min drive) and we have an awesome kayak trail from our house through Oyster Creek out to open water and Pine Island.
A Bald Eagle visits the lake every morning in the winter. Pink Spoonbills, White Egrets, Black Ducks, Ospreys, cute Chameleons, Tree Frogs, Manatees, are all seen in the area. No bad critters here.
Little kids can catch bluegills and turtles in the lake behind the house. (no gulf access)

Rumrunners Restaurant is a must. RunAgrounds Coffee and Gelato is amazing - free wireless internet here too. Longboards is the newest restaurant. We haven't tried it yet. But it looks good too
Here's a newer clean large grocery store with everything you need. They also have a pizza place, chinese food, and a Walgreens here.
Better kayaking area than even the famous Ding Darling reserve or 10,000 Islands.

We first visited Cape Coral in 2001 to see family members in Ft Myers. They told us about renting a house with a pool in Cape Coral and that sounded great. It worked out very well. Everyone had a wonderful time. We went to the beach one day and played in the pool another day. Our 4 yr old really learned to swim on that trip. After that we were hooked!
We were finally able to buy two years later and we've made it our dream house. We hope to retire to this house someday.
GiGi decorated this house as her dream house. She comes from a family of award winning decorators and artists and you'll see that as you walk through the door of Palm Villa. From the columned entry, to the 9 ft ceilings, to the 8 ft sliders off the living room to the pool and lake beyond, it's a house that impresses you in every room. Charles and Mary Ann Robert are close friends that live nearby and provide the cleaning and maintenance service. They're close by to answer any questions about the TV, wireless internet, bikes, BBQ, washer/dryer, kayaks, etc.

Our family of 5 stayed for a week and it was the perfect choice for us. We have 3 grown boys and there was plenty of space. We played lots of pool volleyball! Kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items and beach towels for the pool. The location was easy to find and area was very nice. What a great Christmas week.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Just a great place.This place is complete,and very comfortable. had problem with air conditioner called owner in calf and yhe whole unit had to be replaced. It was done so fast and complete that it did not interuped my daughters wedding that day.Just a staight shooter a very honest place . Cant get any better than that thank you ED And LORETTA

This four bedroom home is not only fully furnished with tropical Tommy Bahama themed furniture but is extremely comfortable and clean. The owners have provided all the small details and accessories that transform the usual vacation rental into a home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with prep accessories, spices, condiments and cleaning supplies. They've provided six bikes, two kayaks, fishing poles, bait, coolers, life jackets, rafts, noodles and even several rain umbrellas. We've have rented homes though out the years and this experience through VRBO.com was convenient and hassle free. It was by far our best rental experience.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
