  Thanks Jay for allowing my family and I to stay at your wonderful condo at the last minute!!! It was everything we had hoped for and more!! The pictures were accurate and the house was clean and wll maintained. The honor system for the items you might have forgot was a neat touch. Great location and everything you need right at your fingertips! I really appreciate you just giving me the information over the phone and trusting me to just leave you a check on the counter when we left. We had a great time and will definitely be back.   Our weekend at this rental was very enjoyable. The place is charming and impeccable. We appreciated the nice touches like the toiletries cabinet/minibar. First time I've seen this feature in any rental I've stayed in. Need a soda or toiletry you forgot? Grab one and drop the money in the jar. Great feature. We loved everything about it and spend a bit of time lounging in the living room and cooking in the kitchen. What you see in the photos and video is what you get. We want to return many times in the future. The owner was easy going and a pleasure to deal with. Saugatuck/Douglas/Fennville are wonderful areas to explore and enjoy unique shops, galleries and good food. Salt of the Earth restaurant in Fennville has become a favorite of ours. Can't wait to go back.

  We found this condo to be clean, comfortable and convenient to both downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. We actually were able to walk to downtown Douglas. The condo is just as depicted with comfortable beds and bedding. Although we didn't do much cooking, the kitchen was fully equipt for us to do so. Especially nice for us was the lovely fireplace as it was unseasonally cold during our stay. The owner provided many suggestions regarding restaurants and activities as well as transportaion options which were very helpful. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

  We had a wonderful time at this lovely condo. Everything we needed was already at the place. Perfect set-up with bedrooms downstairs and main living space upstairs. We really enjoyed being able to walk out the downstairs deck and fish. Great pool on site and lovely harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

  We were there for a long weekend. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. I am especially impressed with the way the owners have responded to suggestions from previous renters - everything that was mentioned in previous reviews or in the guest book seems to have been addressed, including hangers in the closets! The kitchen is well-equipped, wi-fi and electronics worked well, and beds were comfortable. The upper balcony is a very nice place to eat or relax. We did not use the pool but it looked good. I would not recommend using the convertible bed for anyone older than a small child. My 17-year-old son tried to use it the first night and it just wasn't comfortable enough to get a decent night's sleep. We made up the sectional couch the other two nights. Also, Jay was somewhat difficult to reach by email before our visit, but was quite helpful over the phone. There are tons of great restaurants in the area, most notably Everyday People in Douglas. We had great pizza from Pizza Mambo (just moved from Saugatuck to Douglas) and a wonderful but pricey breakfast at Elbo Room. We really enjoyed hiking down to the Douglas beach for sunset one night - not a bad walk but I would bring a flashlight so you are visible to cars on the way back.

  A last minute great vacation. The condo was very clean and well decorated. The book of local businesses was very helpful to plan our weekend activities. Coffee on the deck feeding the wildfowl was very relaxing. Sunset hikes to Lake Michigan in the evenings. We will be back.

  We loved the nicely decorated condo. Well stocked kitchen and cozy fireplace. Stayed for four days with another couple (my sister, husband). Thanks to the unusually mild winter weather, we were able to spend time outdooors and enjoyed climbing the steps of Mt. Baldhead. Had fun shopping, and of course, eating. We had great meals at every restaurant we visited. We had a great winter get-away in the Saugatuck/Douglas area!!

  This is our 2nd trip to this perfect little hideway...It has a feeling of HOME...LOVE the way it is decorated..EVERYTHING you need is included..The BEDS are so COZY!! We came up for the THANKSGIVING weekend and celebrated with my Family...We couldnt have chosen a better weekend..The WEATHER was great...The house provided everything we needed to have a WONDERFUL visit...I DEFINITELY see trip #3 in my future...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

  Wow, the condo was just as advertised, "Clean, cozy, romantic, trendy". The word "trendy" undermines the amazing décor! The amenities were outstanding! We used the WI-FI to seek out attractions, maps and restaurants. For the days we stayed in, we went to the nearby grocery store to eat in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals! My husband of course had to try out the frozen margarita maker. I have to admit, I too enjoyed the frozen cocktails! The Megatouch video game machine entertained us for hours at night. Photo-hunt was our favorite! The absolute best day we had, was taking out the moped's! I was a little nervous, but the 3 wheels certainly makes them a breeze for anyone to ride. We cruised the town, and parking was a cinch. Oval beach was a real treat, not to mention mopeds get in free. The sunset was breathtaking! The owners certainly thought of everything! Can't wait to return! We highly recommend this place. Thank you for the memories, Todd & Kathy

  Overall, this was a very nice place to stay at and would certainly recommend it to anyone. Other than a few minor things the place was great. (Stopper in downstairs bathroom was broken, the glass in the fireplace is certainly not kid friendly, no hangers in the closets and limited cable selections). Very good location and easy to get to Downtown Saugatuck. Area was very quite and tucked away in a cove. The pictures displayed are right on and the place was very clean and maintained for the most part. The master bedroom is huge and the king size bed is an obvious plus. Nice to have washer and dryer available and multiple bathrooms. Deck was also nice to sit out on during the evening hours. The owner was helpful with questions and was good at getting back in a good amount of time. I thought the best meals that we ate were at the Everyday People Cafe in Douglas (Gargonzola Pork Chop was AMAZING! and The Mermaid and Phil's in Downtown Saugatuck were very good. Ida Red's was terrific for breakfast. We went into Holland a couple of times and that was nice and ate at Boatwerks for lunch and was good. Walk along 8th street. Wanted to try Windmill Island in Holland, but didn't get to it. Also never got to the dune rides, but it was highly recommended by everyone. If you have younger kids I would certainly take them to The Critter Barn in Fennville. Oval Beach is very nice and quiet and wasn't crowded. Trip was great and we are already strongly considering returning to Saugatuck and the same property next summer.

We have used the honor system for the last 7 years without inccident. We expect our guest to use "good judgement" and be considerate of our neighbors. There is a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel with a 30 day notice. Should you cancel and give less then a 30 day notice, we will make our best attemp to re-rent your dates. Should we have success filling your dates, you will receive you money back less $50.
