"Two penguins is exactly as described but even better. The location is perfect, private, swimming is great as there's no seaweed. The house itself is really well done, comfortable and has all the amenities we needed for our ladies weekend. Joanne is also very nice to deal with and reponsive. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We had a surprisingly wonderful vacation here with two family's. Rocky, Ralph, christa and Francis lined us out with activities and made us feel at home. The accommodations were. Dry comfortable and in close walking distance to a gorgeous sandstone beach. Can't wait to go back. We were even surprised with tasty carrot cake courtesy of our hosts."

"Our group of six spent two nights here and found the accommodations to be excellent. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and the deck/yard were awesome to hang out in. The house is a short walk to Sandstone Beach, which was fantastic. When we left, I accidentally forgot my iPad there...Zhara was very helpful, and sent it via Fed Ex immediately. I appreciated her going above and beyond! I would recommend Hummingbird Knoll to everyone looking for the perfect Galiano Island experience."

"Looking out the living room picture-window, beyond the large veranda, through the treetops of the downward sloping forest of arbutus and fir trees, just carved out enough to get a clear, splendidly framed view of water, islands, distant mountains, to the flutter-buzz of a hummingbird, the same, one is sure, that visited us at breakfast. So you step out onto the veranda to mutter a "hello"' softly, not to frighten him away. The sun, too, steps out from behind the clouds where it had been hiding for the past half-minute and the veranda is bathed in gold. True. Fantastic. Great."
