  • The best cottage ever

"Ralph and Rocky are the nicest hosts a person could want. My husband and myself try to make it out every year and we always stay in their cozy cabin. We have returned and brought our family as well as out of town guests and rented out the top floor of their other chalet. Ralph and Rocky always make you feel right at home and are always so helpful. We usually rent a boat from them and go out adventuring. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Did I mention Rocky is the best baker around? The Girard Family"

  • Delightful escape from the mainland!

"We spent a few days here in late May and were delighted to find the property to be even more comfortable and relaxing than expected. An oceanfront home with a great summer cottage vibe. Well equipped, super clean, comfortable, spacious and private. The property is very well maintained and obviously loved and cared for by the owners. An excellent and easy getaway from the city. Thanks C&T for the visit, we certainly hope to come back!"

  • We love Galiano Getaway!

"This is our second time staying at the Galiano Getaway - we love it! Our week long stay isn't enough: we always find a lot to do, and new things to explore. We love the wood burning stove, and cooking in the kitchen. This time our trip was dry enough to enjoy time on the deck as well, with the beautiful sunsets. March is a wonderful time to enjoy Galiano - just don't book when we want to be there! We joked among ourselves as to whether or not we had seen The Car or not yet that day. New things we explored were: Bodega ridge trail, the trails up above Stone World, and the mural "down town". Next time we need to bring a boat so that we can get to the marine access park at the north tip of the island."

  • Tranquility

"My husband and I came for a quiet get away and could not have asked for a better experience. The cottage was cozy and well maintained. We had everything we needed within walking distance. We decided to leave the car at home and walked omy the ferry. I hindsight I wish we had brought our bikes if only to explore more of the island but I did not regret leaving the car. We were able to walk to many small secluded beaches and had access to the water from the cottage. We saw Otters swimming outside our first morning and we're delighted by all the birds chirping merrily in the trees sorrounding the property. Even though we faced the ferry terminal it was so quiet and peaceful it gave the illusion that we were all alone in the world. Perfect for a quiet morning to drink tea and journal or enjoy a glass of wine and unwind after a day of exploring."
