Great vacation rental
"We rented this condo for a girls beach vacation and loved every second of it! The location is very close to the beach along with restaurants, cvs, Walgreens, a grocery store, etc.! The renter is always available via text/phone call and was very generous during our stay. The apartment is very clean and in a good neighborhood with s park just a few steps down the road. The kitchen has utensils, a coffee pot, pots and pans, etc which makes for easy cooking.
I highly recommend this condo!"

"Convenient N/S, N/P, apt with ocean view from bedroom. Beautiful Ocean Park Beach steps away from apt and 15 minute walk to restaurants and shops in Condado. 5 minute walk to Ocean Park restaurants and near City bus stop to go to Old San Juan. Staff friendly and very efficient. A/C worked great, but it was nice to leave the windows open and hear the waves at night. Comfortable bed and kitchen great for those who like to cook some of their own meals. I'm glad we chose the guest house at Numero Uno for our 1st visit to San Juan."

"Working with Karen and her husband was a pure joy. I visit Puerto Rico every year around my birthday, and this year decided to rent a large house with some of my closest friends for my 30th birthday. Fifteen of us stayed in the house for 5 nights. Never once did we feel crowded. Everyone had a great time, utilizing the pool as well as the beaches located so near to the home. The proximity to old San Juan for tourism was also very convenient for my guests that had never been to PR...only a short cab ride. The backyard was conducive to a "family dinner" that we cooked in-house for all 15 people. We sat together, dined and had an amazing time. I highly recommend having the house stocked with food prior to arriving...it makes life that much easier. Karen was always available by phone if myself or my guests needed anything. I'm beyond pleased with the entire weekend we spent in this gorgeous home. If ever traveling with a large group again, I would not hesitate to rent this house again."

Fantastic owner, even better location, wonderful condo - our family of 4 LOVED it
"All the detailed reviews helped me choose this condo, so I wanted to pay it forward. My family and I (including 2 kids, 14 and 3) had a sublime spring break vacation in Puerto Rico, and having this condo as our home base was wonderful. As others have said, Ita is an incredibly kind, caring, and responsive owner. Her niece, Linda, is also a delight to communicate with - they answered all my questions before arrival promptly and were happy to accommodate our late-arriving flight. Ita even came out to the corner as we made our way from the airport to guide us into the secure underground parking garage. This was after 11 p.m. on a Thursday night. She could not have been more delightful.
It takes about 2 minutes to walk from the condo to Condado beach. This was a boon as we needed to return "home" for bathroom breaks for the 3-yr-old but it didn't mean having to cut our time at the beach short - we just turned around and went right back. The waves are strong, so it's not a swimming beach (lots of experienced body surfers, though) but my kids loved bracing themselves against the waves and building sand castles.
The condo itself is light, airy, spacious, beautifully (and functionally) decorated, and it is incredibly well-stocked. We found everything we needed - tons of beach towels, laundry detergent, a soft-sided cooler that was perfect for bringing our frozen water bottles to the beach or the rainforest. The well-appointed kitchen had all the appliances and pots/pans I needed to make a couple of dinners as well as all of our breakfasts. Ita supplied bottled water as well as a Brita water pitcher, and even stocked 2 kinds of milk for the kids before we arrived. We also appreciated the bottle of wine and the chocolates she provided, and we availed ourselves of the roll of quarters to catch the bus to/from Old San Juan. We used our car for excursions farther afield: day trips to Fajardo with its calm beaches and El Yunque.
We all slept well - the beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms' air-conditioning works VERY well (we often turned it off and just opened the windows to catch the breeze). The blackout shades do a good job of minimizing the morning light. There are flat screen TVs in 3 rooms but we never turned them on - too much to do, day and night! The location right along Ashford Ave. meant that we could walk to drinks/dinner/ice cream. Very low-stress.
We would recommend this property wholeheartedly and hope to return!"
