  • WOW!

"We rented this property on the recommendation of friends and had researched it and others before booking. The photos of Admiral View on the website are great; but, to experience this place in person is even better! Jessica greeted us upon our arrival, and both Jessica and Pinkley stopped by on the second day to be sure we were settled and everything was okay. They are truly gracious people who wanted to be sure all our expectations were met. Not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded!! The property and villa are beautiful, classy, comfortable, spacious and clean. The view from the balconies is spectacular and the grounds are lovely! The amenities made us feel like we were at home; this was very important to us as we did not want to be in a resort with hundreds of other tourists. It was great to have the pool for the days when we didn't feel like going to the beach and we enjoyed sitting poolside at night to have a nightcap. We appreciated that Admiral View is in a quiet, residential area; yet, you are only about a 5-minute drive to Rodney Bay for shopping, restaurants, nightlife and beaches. Jessica and Pinkley are wonderful people who obviously take pride in their villas and they make sure you have a truly great vacation experience. We are so glad that we chose Admiral Villa and have already indicated that we will be returning next year. This is a rare find and a true gem!!"

  • Stunningly situated and well appointed property!

"This looked great in the pictures but was in fact even better in real life. Quiet and well situated for either the beach or the shops and restaurants. Wonderful to sit outside on the jetty in the evenings and listen to the tree frogs or on the shaded secluded patio for meals. Linda the maid came in every day, cleaned, washed and generally made the place perfect - always happy to share information on where to go and how to get there. Victoria at Dragonfly couldn't have been more helpful, even providing us with a mobiles to keep in touch with our daughter at another resort. We went on the Endless Summer catamaran trip down to Soufriere and can thoroughly recommend this. Spinnakers Bar on the beach is a great place to watch the sunset while enjoying happy hour. Also liked the Tapas restaurant next to the Steak place opposite Rodney Bay Mall. I would thoroughly recommend 4 Rodney Bay if you want a central but quiet place to stay."

  • Wonderful Villa

"Our 9 day stay at Marina Haven Villa was great from start to finish. We arrived at UVF and were picked up by Kern, who helped us with bags and drove us up to the Villa. Along the way he was an awesome tour guide, pointing out various points of interests, facts about the different parts of the island, flora, fauna, landmarks, and ideas for enjoying our stay. Once at the Villa, we realized what a good job the pictures do of showing the Villa. Awesome view from the pool, beautifully built and decorated rooms, and a great setting overall. There's nothing nicer than waking up, walking onto the balcony, and enjoying the warm air and beautiful scenery. The pool is beautiful and has a good mix of sun/shade most of the day. Janine went out of her way to help us, give us more pointers on where to go, what to see. We loved working with Janine and can't say enough nice things about her. Some pointers for those new to the island and the Villa: -get a digicel pre-paid phone as soon as you land, just makes life so much easier. OR get a SIM card for your phone from your provider. There is good cell service on most of the island -there are no outlets in the bathrooms, apparently there was some building code that prohibited this when the Villa was built. Kind of a pain, but a spare mirror will make life easier for the women. -120V and 240V are both available throughout the Villa -Take a cab to the Reduit Beach access near Coco Palm resort. There is a closed resort on the beach there, so the beach is pretty empty and you won't have to deal with the hawkers. -For a really great beach, go to Smuggler's Cove near Cap Maison. It's a public beach with a restaurant/bar right on the beach. -Get to Orlando's in Soufrière. It will be one of the best dining experiences of your life. -Chairman's Reserve Rum, coke, ice, and lime should be on your grocery list. -Make the Friday night trip to the Gros Islet Jump Up. Show up around 9:00, get some street food, a rum punch, and do some dancing. We were advised to stay on the main street, keep our belongings close, etc. but never felt worried about getting hassled. If you're looking for a St. Lucia getaway that isn't one of the big resorts, this is the place to stay."

  • WONDERFULLY ENJOYABLE STAY

"My wife and I spent 12 glorious days in Unit #10; we couldn't have been happier with it! The Villa was clean, quiet, secure, comfortably roomy, bright and cheery. It was screened and air conditioned, nicely laid out, thoughtfully furnished, and very tastefully decorated with local art. Closets were ample, with a safe. Furnishings were complete, so we really didn't need to bring anything. There was a washing machine, and everything needed for air drying, ironing, etc. Extras such as grass beach mats were provided. 110v and 220v outlets fit all of our gadgets and chargers. The home entertainment system was great; we occasionally watched free cable TV and a few DVDs brought along. The patio and balcony both overlook a crystal clear pool, allowing relaxed lounging and enjoyment of pleasant sea breezes. The courtyard was surrounded by palms and lovely flowering bushes. Maintenance staff and the owners were all wonderfully personable and considerate! When we arrived, our unit was beautifully decorated with flowers and fronds, and supplied with fruits, snacks and assorted beverages. There was a book of written instructions for everything, with dining and tour suggestions -- so very helpful and complete. The location is very convenient within Rodney Bay, being just a few moments walk to grocery and bargain stores, and only 10 minutes more to shopping centres. Between the two is the Bay Gardens Hotel, which provides free shuttle service to the beach area. We didn't rent a car, but there was secure space to park one. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Saint Lucia! There's plenty to see and do around the island, and the population is so friendly -- loved it!"
