"We had our wedding at Beau Rivage and stayed for 9 nights. We had 7 guests who stayed for a week. It was a great size. We had our wedding ceremony and reception on site and it was wonderful. The photos on the website were reflective of actual - no surprises. It was as beautiful as the photos shown. Sue was easy to work with and very helpful prior and during with answering a lot of questions about the villa, St Lucia, and wedding planning. We haven't been to SL before and she and Kris (house manager) made the planning much easier. The house manager/concierge, cook and housekeeper as part of the rental were great add's and one of the reasons we picked Beau Rivage compared to other villas. Very convenient to get recommendations for tours, restaurants, have reservations made, transportation arranged, and 2 meals cooked per day. We did a catamaran and rainforest tour and most nights ate in the Rodney Bay area. Would recommend the catamaran tour to all. For the first night, we arrived in the evening and took the option of grocery pre-stocking and a meal cooked so we just had to heat up and relax that evening. I'd recommend it. All the staff was helpful to prepare for the wedding. They helped with decoration, partnered with the wedding planning services and catering restaurant to coordinate. We had the wedding on the deck and it was beautiful. We were also able to get to the nearby beach for additional wedding photos. The location was also the perfect size for a reception for a party of 9. It was convenient and less stressful to have everything from make up and getting dressed to ceremony, reception/party right there without having to travel. It also kept the schedule more flexible. The furniture, silverware, glassware ...etc available helped save on rental cost and sound system worked well - DJ was able to set up easily. It was a private, relaxing location - great to have own pool and tiki bar. Also nice that the villa had safes for jewelry I brought for the wedding. The house also has a security system. The only challenge was mosquitoes/bugs which I was told was unusual for January but it did rain for few days (which was unusual) first days when we were there. We had the central area AC turned on (for extra cost) and that helped but some guests got a few bites. Overall great trip - would recommend for vacations, reunions, and intimate weddings!"

"we stayed at the castle on th sea for a week and we wish it could have been longer!!! Plans to come back with our family in the near future! The accommodations were excellent, the view amazing, the locals friendly! Sitting on the veranda with the cool breeze while having a meal, looking out at the beautiful Caribbean Sea, is just the most delightful, amazing experience! We rented a car and had and no trouble finding our way around the island! Both a great adventure, and a wonderful relaxing vacation! We hope to return often to The Castle On The Sea!!"

"Our two families (4 adults 4 children) had the best holiday ever at Villa Mandoo. It was going to be a special trip because our husbands were crossing the Atlantic to Rodney Bay from Gran Canaria in the ARC 2014 sailing rally, but it turned out to be the so much more; a holiday of a lifetime that we will all remember forever! We spent 3 weeks over christmas and new year at the villa; enjoying big family meals on the covered terrace with beautiful views of the sea on both sides, a constant cooling breeze, lovely big garden with fruit trees, the long pool which the children (ages 10-16) and adults alike were constantly in, the snorkelling at the bottom of the garden was fab; I saw Lion fish, Puffer fish, octopus, lobster and many other beautiful tropical fish. We couldn't believe at luck at finding such a fantastic place. Our friend's boat was able to anchor in Cuti cove as well, so we all swam out to it to many times, and were able to watch the local fishermen do their thing. It's very private apart from the odd visiting boat from windjammer to go snorkelling. We all loved just hanging out at the villa playing games, eating, swimming in the pool and the sea, watching the sunsets. The outside showers were great, especially at sunset. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and the beds are very comfy and big too, and the wi-fi was handy for the teenagers! Marie Ann and Anthony were helpful and it was great to have someone to do some chores. On christmas day about 20 of us had a BBQ lunch on the terrace, so you can see it is a great place for entertaining; spacious with enough tables, chairs for everyone! On New Years Eve we were able to see the fireworks from the Windjammer resort as well as the ones in Rodney Bay.
All in all it really felt like Paradise at Villa Mandoo! Thanks to the first Mr Morgan for building a great house in such a fantastic location on the lush island of St Lucia."

Incredible Home and Amenities - Highly Recommended
"My wife and I and our 19 year old son and 16 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our week at Tamarind House. Based on the pictures, property description and other reviews, we had very high expectations about the property, and the house and the amenities exceeded even our lofty expectations. This is a very unique property. The photos on the VRBO site are representative of the home and the views but still don't do either justice. The views from every part of the property are spectacular and never get old. The den, dining area, master, second bedroom, and cottage each have direct, open views of the ocean and the Pitons. The open air design allows the trade winds to keep the house very comfortable throughout the day. Also, the property is naturally shaded around the large den and dining area. The pool is larger than we expected (and plenty big enough) and is well maintained. The private tennis court is also well maintained and gets shade during the morning hours and a breeze most of the time. We thoroughly enjoyed both the pool and the tennis court. The staff at the house are exceptional. Ann and Cheryl are outstanding cooks. Every meal was excellent and had a St Lucia flavor - breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts (homemade gelato). Just tell them fish, chicken, etc. and let them do the rest. We normally are very active on vacations, but not this time. Except for one day of deep sea fishing, we stayed on site and just enjoyed all the property has to offer. We have been fortunate to vacation at some great locations and properties over the years, and Tamarind House is at the top of the list. It is a very unique vacation opportunity.
We had no issues with bugs or wildlife. As other reviews have noted, the road is rough getting to the house but we weren't driving so it wasn't a problem. The driver Po Po is very nice and always available.
Finally, the owner, Nancy, is great to deal with. She is very patient in answering questions and provides all the information and coordination you need to make the trip easy. She has a local property manager who can coordinate your travel and other needs on the island. Everything will be exactly as described and promised."
