  • Clean cabin. Peaceful location. Convenient for families.

"We cannot thank our hosts enough for the opportunity to stay in their Whisper Cabin. Everything was in "tip-top" shape and so very convenient when we returned each day from fishing for silvers. Next time we visit, I'll book sooner so we can spend more time on your property. The fire pit looked inviting but didn't have time to use it. My teenagers liked the WIFI access so they could post photos of their catch."

  • Perfect Alaska Family retreat!

"Our family of 4 arrived to our cabin on August 6th for a seven night stay. The cabin lived up to everything that we wanted and more. Loons Nest is a perfectly maintained older Alaska lake house. The kind that you normally only find when you have someone in the family that will let you use it. We loved it from the time we drove down the lush green private drive. The main house is next door, but it feels worlds apart. The Zmuda family maintains a wonderful lawn and flower garden. The lake and dock are at the end of the yard. We have two young kids(6&8) who were thrilled with the water toys, hammock, dock, boat and trout fishing. The cabin is immaculate and has everything that you need to feel at home. The caretakers have two wonderful Labradors that we're outstanding with the kids. I felt even safer with the kids outside around the great dogs. I can't recommend this cabin enough for a great family bonding experience. The cabin is very centrally located. Easy dive from Anchorage, to Willow, Telkeetna and up to Denali. Groceries are nearby and the lake is great for fishing and swimming. Thank you Ron and Cindy. We loved it!"

  • Felt like we were right at home!

"The home was beautiful and had all the bells and whistles to make our vacation feel as if we were right at home! The black out curtains were a plus in the bedrooms as staying up with the sun is far to easy to do this time of year! Everything was better than we could have hoped. There isn't anything special about the location and if it wasn't for this beautiful home, we would not have spent much time in Wasilla. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the accommodations this house had to offer"
