View was fantastic and a hot tub. she had fresh muffins and bananas available. Our only complaint was a little noisy. Could hear them walking and use bathroom upstairs but all in all well worth it
I just have to say, I’ve never had a host as kind and thoughtful as Deb. My boyfriend and I traveled to Alaska for only 24 hours on a whim. I wanted to make it special for him and make it a celebration for graduating; she legit went and bought everything I asked for with a basket and made the stay so special. I’m so thankful for Deb, our Alaska stay felt so much longer because of her hospitality and beautiful home. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
This was a beautiful property. The hot tub with the Mountain View is gorgeous. The house is nice, had all the basics you would need with a small fridge and microwave. The only issue we had was the noise from the house above was quite loud. It might not bother everyone, but I’m a very light sleeper and could hear the dogs, people walking etc. if you’re a light sleeper like me this might be not be a good option. Everything else was good!

So sorry about the noise. We had a little out of state company this week with bigger voices and more activity than normal
The view is stunning. Enjoyed sitting in the hot tub overlooking the mountains. Could also sit in the living room and gaze over the mountains. We were welcomed with a bowl of large berry muffins and fruit. Deb was very responsive to my questions. I didn’t read close enough of the description to realize there wasn ’t a cooking range but we made due with the grill and griddle outside. That was my fault for not reading the property description. We enjoyed our stay.
Host was very attentive and there were sweet little personal touches! You’re greeted with your name at the door and amazing home baked goodies! Stay was amazing will be recommending to friends and family. Can not wait to stay here again!
I would definitely recommend this lodging. Everything was perfect. Beds comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels, and the homemade muffins were delicious.

Incredibly beautiful location!! The hot tub with the view was definitely the highlight. The host was awesome washing towels and taking out garbage mid visit. Super quiet with the sweetest dogs.
We stayed here for a night after a nearby wedding. Gorgeous view and awesome property. Had everything we needed, was just here with friends but would be a great spot for family/kids as well.
Beautiful views, clean, comfortable, and well priced. It was a quite and relaxing stay.

About the host
Hosted by Deb Ley
Thanks for booking our property. We truly love having people in our home. Dave currently serves at the Alaska Bible College and Deb teaches piano and manages the rooms and we both love dogs (Goldens and basset hounds). We also love the great hiking and biking in Alaska and just love that you have chosen our place to stay. Enjoy the beautiful view and the complimentary muffins and fruit as you relax at our place.
Why they chose this property
Its view!!!! We love Wasilla and all that it has to offer: grocery stores, a variety of places to eat, beautiful places to explore.
What makes this property unique
It is one hour from Ted Stevens International Airport and almost 2.5 hours to Denali. Its a short drive into Wasilla for food and delicious eating but half a mile to Three Bears for some pick up food or groceries/gas. Right around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the area, Settlers Bay Lodge and golf course. The space we offer is reasonably priced and has a large private area for guests to kick back and relax. The bedrooms are comfortable and the gas fireplace makes for a cozy space to relax after a long day of traveling and exploring. The mini kitchen is perfect for some light cooking with a grill outside to cook your fresh salmon
