Incredibly beautiful location!! The hot tub with the view was definitely the highlight. The host was awesome washing towels and taking out garbage mid visit. Super quiet with the sweetest dogs.
I would definitely recommend this lodging. Everything was perfect. Beds comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels, and the homemade muffins were delicious.
Nice house, wonderful hosts & nice continental breakfast surprise. Majestic view out the back. Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy more of the local restaurants and use hot tub.If traveling in summer bring a sleep mask!!
We stayed here for a night after a nearby wedding. Gorgeous view and awesome property. Had everything we needed, was just here with friends but would be a great spot for family/kids as well.
We flew into Anchorage and then stayed here in order to set ourselves up for a nice day trip to Talkeetna and back the next day, before heading to the peninsula for the rest of our 10 days in Alaska. The hosts were kind, the views were incredible, the space just right for what we were doing.
If you want to feel at home, this is the place to stay! You can feel the love put into this home. Clean, comfy, and homey feel. Plenty of room for our family of 6 and large SUV. We will definitely return when we are in town again.
We are experienced VRBO’ers and found this listing to be excellent. All directions and communications were 100%, the apartment was truly exceptional (with great living room recliners and terrific comfortable beds), and the host left kind instructional notes, blueberry muffins, and cranberry scones. The view from inside and from the outside seating was of beautiful mountains, and the nearby cold frames were full of green vegetables.Although the heated outside spa was very inviting, we were tired from our day’s adventuresome exploring, so we didn’t use it (at least this time)!Nothing less than 100% for our stay at this “Beautiful Mountain View” hideaway!
The first stay was very nice, the second stay was less impressive. The stay of August 22 was very disappointing. Trash had not been emptied, wet hand towel from someone other than our party was on the rack, dirty towels left in the room, kitchen towels and cloth were not to be found. This makes me wonder if the sheets had been changed/clean.
Such a comfortable stay here and the view was absolutely beautiful. Friendly hosts that gave us great information for dinner suggestions and the lay out of the area
Nice little property to stay at. The only complaint was being able to hear loud foot steps from above in the night. Would also recommend getting curtains for the main door for added privacy as it looks out to the owners hot tub.
What a super place. The view of mts and area from our door was fabulous. Very nice hosts place was clean.

Thanks for booking our property. We truly love having people in our home. Dave currently serves at the Alaska Bible College and Deb teaches piano and manages the rooms and we both love dogs (Goldens and basset hounds). We also love the great hiking and biking in Alaska and just love that you have chosen our place to stay. Enjoy the beautiful view and the complimentary muffins and fruit as you relax at our place.
Why they chose this property
Its view!!!! We love Wasilla and all that it has to offer: grocery stores, a variety of places to eat, beautiful places to explore.
What makes this property unique
It is one hour from Ted Stevens International Airport and almost 2.5 hours to Denali. Its a short drive into Wasilla for food and delicious eating but half a mile to Three Bears for some pick up food or groceries/gas. Right around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the area, Settlers Bay Lodge and golf course. The space we offer is reasonably priced and has a large private area for guests to kick back and relax. The bedrooms are comfortable and the gas fireplace makes for a cozy space to relax after a long day of traveling and exploring. The mini kitchen is perfect for some light cooking with a grill outside to cook your fresh salmon
