A little slice of heaven
"I cannot say enough about this wonderful home and the awesome vacation that we enjoyed. The house is perfection. Everything you could possibly need to relax and have a wonderful time is waiting for you at this property. My family and I stayed for two weeks and plan to return for a month next year, if that tells you anything about how much we enjoyed this house. We started everyday at the beach, just a short ride from the house. You have your choice of the busy beach with the boardwalk and the restaurants or the north beach with its quiet sands and lack of crowds. Then back home to jump and play in the pool which comes with floats and noodles to relax and enjoy. The hot tub was very relaxing every night and an evening dip to follow got everyone ready for bed. The rooms are a good size and the beds were super comfortable. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything. The caretaker Greg was wonderful and was right there when we needed anything. The backyard property is like a tropical garden and the big gardenia bushes were in bloom while we were there making the night air smell like perfume while we enjoyed cocktails by the pool. Downtown was just a five minute walk and the Tipsy Boar was a real favorite for my family. Downsides...NONE. Do not even hesitate for a moment...rent this house and enjoy!!!!!"

"We had a large group of friends that all stayed at Young Mansion together for two weeks and we had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful albeit old which we loved. We cooked group meals in the large kitchen, ate in the large dining room or by the pool and lounged in the cabana all day. The pool table was a hit with everyone. We were there for the Superbowl and the living room and TV was large enough to accommodate our large group. Even the dog had fun chasing the lizards around the pool. Michael (the caretaker) was nearby and available whenever we ran across a problem or question (which is bound to happen with an old estate this large). Richard was very responsive by email or phone whenever we had a question and sent us a very exhaustive list of guidelines/suggestions to help us prior to checking in. The beds were very comfortable and water pressure/temp was great (which can be tricky in an old house) - no problems there! The only thing I can even think of to suggest would be a commercial coffee maker - we were a large group of coffee drinkers and made many pots a day with the 12 cup Mr. Coffee maker - but other than that we had a lovely time in a grand old house with many nooks and crannies to explore! We are already planning our trip back next year. Thanks again to Richard Vest and Michael Neal for a wonderful time!"

"Me and my 2 kids stayed for 4 nights and I was very pleased with everything. The owner was excellent to work with. She communicated well and was very easy to reach by phone, text, or email. The room has everything you need including dishes, beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, beach towels. We didn't need to worry about anything on our trip. The room was clean and quiet. Air conditioning worked excellent and the view is amazing. Only thing missing is a balcony but there are none at this hotel. The location was awesome, everything is right there. My kids loved the pool. I would definitely stay here again."

"My husband and I (seniors) rented John's "Condo in the Sky" for the month of February. We loved it! The views are gorgeous. The sunsets stunning.
The condo is very well equipped and the location was perfect.
What could be better than having a morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony!
Everything is close by: Publix, Walgreen, multiple restaurants, transportation, shopping, the beach, culture, art, concerts and of course the Monday night Food Truck extravaganza!
We certainly appreciated having a washer and dryer in the condo. There is a designated room on the 5th floor with washers and dryers, but having it in your own unit is so very convenient. We made good use of the beach equipment provided: chairs and umbrella, which enhanced our beach experience. But the pool on the fifth floor was also used often and enjoyed.
John is a very dedicated and responsible owner. He makes himself available and ready to answer questions.
We certainly recommend it.
