Three Family Vacation
"My wife, our two adult children and their families spent a week June 13-20. Six adults and 3 young ones, 5, 4 and 2. The house was great. Very large. The 3 couples had their own bedrooms and the 3 kids used the other 2. Four full baths. The house has two full kitchens one on the main level and one on the lower walk out level. Lots of room. There was a walkway down to the lake. The house has a double boat dock with a second level. It was so hot the week we were there we all spent many hours swimming. Also lots of fishing right from the dock. We took a few excursions including a day at the Atlanta Aquarium which was an easy drive. The area is beautiful, rolling hills and Lake Lanier goes on forever. We were very impressed. The owners were very easy to deal with via email. This is our fourth VRBO family vacation and we recommend this spot highly."

"We had a fabulous week!!! Your home is perfect for families with children of all ages to enjoy. We had the enough room for all 23 of us. The dining room was perfect for the 10 adults and the 13 children ate at the breakfast area table and barstools or the table outside the kitchen on the deck.
Weather was hot -- a little warmer than we expected but no problem. We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days -- the kids love the tube behind the boat. They also enjoyed the top of the boat house jumping in the lake. The 2 younger kids(3 & 4) had sand buckets and played in the sand at the volleyball court. The pool was used from early morn until late at night.
The neat thing was in the evenings the older 4 kids (15 - 14 - 13- 12) played the board games you had Risk, Life, etc from years ago. So nice to see this instead of electronics. The 13 children were from age 15-1/2 to almost 4 yrs. They got along so well we were amazed. The 2 older ones had not met all of Tom's grandchildren and they were so helpful with them fishing, etc. We did everything. The little girls used the fitness room for the mirrors to practice ballet and dancing -- so cute.
I hope we can plan a vacation there again. We have gone to Hilton Head & Naples with our children but not recently. We were waiting for the younger ones to get out of the toddler stage.
Maurice was helpful, considerate and a great asset for check-in and during our stay. I called him to get the name of a dentist for my son's girlfriend that broke a tooth. He got an appointment for her on Mon morn at 11 -- amazing for a new patient to be seen so quickly even if it was an emergency. We appreciate his help.
We have given the VRBO # to several of our friends and family. I hope they can enjoy your home.
Thank you for sharing your home with our family."

"Many wonderful family memories were created while staying in this fabulous house! It had been 7 1/2 years since my entire family could spend time together and this was the perfect house for all 13 of us to all stay instead of separate hotel rooms; trying to find a central location to meet each day. We cooked, fished, kayaked, sunbathed, relaxed and enjoyed each others company. We also took visited a couple of the local wineries and visited the Nascar Hall of Fame. The wedding we came for was also beautiful. Thank you Evelyn for being so gracious. You are an angel."

"The house is exactly as pictured and the kitchen is well-equipped. The dock is a short walk away but allows for an uninterrupted view of the lake. It is also on a quiet part of the lake so there was not much lake traffic. We were able to swim and paddle board. The fire pit was a perfect ending for a weekend girls getaway. We will definitely be back!"
