  • "Magical" 10 out of 10

"This was our first trip to Kauai and we booked with Mary unit 158. The unit was way nicer then the pictures and much closer to the beach then what shows in the pictures. The linens was like staying in a 5 star resort. The unit was PERFECT. So many great extras that just made our vacation that much enjoyable. We were able to walk to resturants, walk to town, and just had a Magical time. We really lucked out because some resorts are so far away from a store, or if you just want to sit and have a Mai Tai. But Marys place was actually perfect and well exceeded our needs. If you want a great bargin or bang for your buck you cant get any better then here. The unit size was perfect, had a large spacious bathroom so my husband and I could both be getting ready for dinner. We used the BBQ every other night. There is a little freezer in addition to the refrigerator. The unit has small coolers, beach/lounge chairs, and a boogie board. Mary put a lot of extra work to ensure we were comfortable which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed going to Hula girl for breakfast, sat at the counter and had great mimosa's. One morning we got up to watch the sunrise and huge monk seal was sleeping on the beach in front our unit. I think what I enjoyed most about this place was the location and all the access to everywhere on island and from the unit. There is a great ocean breeze, and after staying on the ground floor I do not think I would ever want to stay on a second or third. We loved how the lawn and sand was all part of our Lanai, Made it feel very spacious and we loved not having to hall our things up and down the steps. When it rains it can be slippery if you have to take the stairs. At night there was security that walked the property so we always felt very safe. Its just a very nice, quiet, safe, place to stay. We are definately going to come back to stay but next time we will stay longer. Sam"

  • Perfect Getaway

"This condo was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view of the pool. The kitchen made me feel right at home. Kapaa is a great place to stay, lots of great food and everything is in walking distance. We also enjoyed the bike path that runs along the ocean, right by the condo. Our favorite part was going to the raffle they hold in the pool area because we won a Captain Andy's boat ride along the Napali Coast, it was breathtaking, and even saw dolphins and whales. I really recommend this condo and I will be coming back next year!"

  • Hale O' Wailele Kapaa

"House is spacious & well-equiped & stocked. The garage has bicycles & helmets for every age, boogie boards, snorkels, beach towels, reef walker shoes, coolers, etc. all very well organized & ready to go. Unfortunately, we went during what is still considered winter, so we had rainy, blustery weather & did not get to take advantage of the "waterfall" swimming pool, hot tub or get to explore the farm. Even though we didn't get to walk about the farm, we had a wonderful basket of fresh fruits & a box of chocolate macadamia nuts waiting for us. Lots of room to run around in the yard for the children (7 & 4 yr. olds). Off the beaten path, very quiet, but not hard to find & is in a central location. Dejon was very helpful, quick to respond & checked up on us to make sure we didn't get rained out. The house was very welcoming & we loved having Sparkle (farm cat) greet us every time we returned to the home & in the morning. Definitely would (& have) recommend this house to family/friends & would stay here again."

"Secret Cove Cottage was everything we hoped for and more for our honeymoon. I can't add anything to the reviews already written about this wonderful spot on Kauai. We will be back."

Ke'e Beach is considered to be at its best by many early in the morning, providing the opportunity to explore the reef located just offshore. You can also enjoy a calm lagoon and a host of different sea life, such as barracuda and turtles, if you feel up to snorkeling. Just make sure you leave your Kauai lodging early enough to beat the crowds.

Take a Whale-watching Cruise near Kauai Lodging

If you plan to time your vacation in Kauai condos during humpback whale season, which runs from December through April, then you will certainly be in for a treat.
