Kealia Landing House ligger på en bløff med udsigt over en bred, sand Kealia-strand med panoramaudsigt, uforglemmelig udsigt over Kauais østkyst, der strækker sig ti miles til Hoary Head-bjergkæden. Fra denne vidunderlige blind vej i et historisk møllesamfund bugner rekreative muligheder! Gå ned ad stien til en bølgebrobeskyttet del af stranden. Eller slentre gennem afsides strande i miles på Kauais nye asfalterede 'Emerald Lei' fodgænger- / cykelsti lige under huset. To miles på stien i den anden retning fører dig lige ind i den gamle Kapaa by ifølge Forbes magasin; en af de 15 smukkeste byer i Amerika.

Huset minder om design af Richard Neutra og er en modernistisk, arkitektonisk glæde. Gulv til loft-vinduer, ti meter høje mahogni lofter i Honduras og varme farvede betongulve er kun nogle få af funktionerne i dette moderne elegante og meget private hjem. Perfekt designet og møbleret til tre par; der er et separat hul med fantastisk udsigt over Stillehavet, der fungerer som et kontor. Det utrolige Hawaiiana-bibliotek huser mange bøger om Kauai og Kauai's historie.

Sid på græsplænen og nyd de spektakulære brud på sæsonhvalerne, når de passerer punktet. Om aftenen er glæde ved de forfriskende handelsvinde, da utallige havfugle, inklusive fregatter, boobies og endda Albatrosses kører forbi til Kilauea Fyrtårns fuglereservat. Nyd spektakulære sol- og månestigninger over havet såvel som en fantastisk udsigt over de omkringliggende landemærker The Sleeping Giant, Kong og i klart vejr; vandfaldene i Mt. Waialeale lige fra din dør.

En væg i det første niveau store rum er næsten alt glas med en betagende udsigt over havet. Anden sal er en rummelig master suite med platformsseng og rummelig privat lanai med udsigt over det koboltblå hav. An absolutely incredible property. This was probably the best vacation of our lives, and the house had a huge part in that. The house is so comfortable and beautiful and the location is absolutely stunning. We arrived after dark the first night and when we woke up the next morning we were in awe of the beauty. The hosts were amazing and helped us with everything we needed. Thank you!

Wonderful stay at this house! Very private and quiet neighborhood and centrally located. It’s nice to have a spectacular view and a yard for the kids to play in. Well stocked even with beach items including a cooler. It truly felt like home and we all are sad to leave!

Pleasant stay

We are a family of six adults and two infants. Our stay was as comfortable as it can be with a great view and close proximity to a beach. The house was well stocked and clean.

Fantastic Week at Karli’s Landing

Beautiful Home with Amazing View

Wonderful sunsets and sunrises every day. Yes, you get both from this location! Well appointed home has everything you need. Well maintained and clean. Consider that there is no AC and that stairs are quite steep.

Perfect location for the Island

Kalia Landing House

Our weather was spotty, so it was nice to be able to relax and watch the storms and surf from our perch on the hill. We arrived to find the internet not functioning, but when we notified the property manager the problem was quickly and professionally fixed. An excellent vacation home and management by KVR.

A trip to remember

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent ten days at this property in November and it was a memorable experience. I had never been to this island before so i read a lot of reviews on this house beforehand so hopefully this review is helpful to someone else. First, the good: The house is amazing. Truly. The layout is perfect and the views are possibly the best on the island. Everything in the house was high quality and well taken care of. It's in good proximity to restaurants, the airport and all sorts of activities. The beach was beautiful and the water calm enough for our children to swim in safely. Now, the bad: Getting to the beach can be a challenge. At best, it is a steep hike but if you have young children or elderly folks with you, it would be nearly impassible. The other big negative is the beach itself; Unfortunately there are quite a few homeless folks that use this specific beach as a place to sleep. I'm not sure why they choose this beach in particular but there were multiple vehicles (cars are allowed on this beach) with folks sleeping inside every single night. And unfortunately for us, the worst case scenario happened as a homeless woman let herself into the house while we were there. She wasn't violent but very intoxicated and the police had to be called. No harm was done but it was a scary experience and it led to us locking the house down every night including all the sliding doors which made it pretty stuffy. Personally I probably wouldn't come back to this particular property because i have young children but it really is a fantastic location. Were it not for the few negatives i mentioned, i would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastics cliff, oceanfront Views

House was great but you are staying here for the end to end panorama views of the ocean. Only downside is for whatever reason the extra parking spot outside that is for those staying there is/was used by transients with cars parking there. Reported that to rental. Police had to come twice with one a foot pursuit down the hill. Not great scenery there for our kids and is the big reason why you definitely can't leave anything unlocked when not there. Also guest toilet broke at the end of stay.

Great Kauai location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second time that we stayed at the Kealia Landing house; the first time was 9 years ago. It was a vacation with our two grown children and their partners. We enjoyed the house the first time around, so booked it again, primarily based on its terrific location. The house was a bit worn this time, and could use a few upgrades. There were still no hooks to hang towels in the 2 downstairs bathrooms (my complaint from 9 years ago!!!). Unfortunately, there was also an issue with no hot water in the master shower, although there was hot water everywhere else in the house, including the master bath. The management company immediately came to assess the situation, determined what the issue was, which could not be addressed during our stay, but a suitable agreement was made with the owner. Issues with any house can occur, so I do not hold this against the property. Also, as stated by other reviewers, the downstairs bedrooms can get stuffy when the windows are closed, although there are fans which helped. The master bedroom was great, with the doors open all night and the sound of the ocean. The location of the house was ideal, with reasonable driving times to destinations in either direction. There was a walking/biking path which stretched both north and south from the house. This time around, we couldn't find the iffy and steep path down to the beach, but it was no problem walking or driving to the beach. The house had beach chairs and beach towels, and most other items needed for our stay. We didn't do much cooking, choosing to eat out....but there were many dining options just a few minutes drive away. The house wasn't perfect, but we still really enjoyed our time there.

Kealia Landing House Trip

This was our first time to Kaua'i and this property did not disappoint! Just the two of us for our 25th wedding anniversary. We spent hours just relaxing and watching the waves roll in and out. The view was breathtaking and even though there are neighbors it is a very private yard. Loved listening to the waves lull us to sleep at night. Incredible food nearby at Tonys Catch , Kenji Burger and Oasis on the Beach. Nothing is too far so we had tons of fun and adventures while we were there. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us!

Great house!

Beautiful location and great house! The house was as advertised, was clean, comfortable and had great extras like beach chairs, boogie boards, a small cooler and more. The location was very central and the nearby walking path was perfect for a great run or walk with a perfect view of whales and dolphins in the morning! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to others!

New Years Stay

Kealia Landing House was perfect for our group of six. Spectacular views from the house, we saw whales almost daily from the back patio. Ideal location midway between north and south side of the island meant we were never more than an hour from our sight seeing, hiking destinations.
