"We had a great time at the Tiki house. It really was like being In a tree house when you are upstairs, level with some of the tree tops. The master bedroom is huge, a nice space to hang out with the kids when they get up super early and everyone else is still sleeping. The back yard is completely private and well maintained. There were bikes to use, but unfortunately with young kids we didn't get much use out of them. There were many sand toys, boogie boards and beach chairs to use. The kitchen was so big that we could have 3 people working on making dinner and not feel crowded at all. The location was great, even our young kids had no problem making the walk to the beach or the the shops. The local market was great. We have already recommended this house to a friend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We are a family of four with two young kids 11 and 13. The condo was very spacious and well equipped. Location within the complex ideal with a nice greenbelt across the street behind the unit (the large lanai off the dining room overlooks this). The complex was very quiet. Location in Princeville is very convenient to North Shore activities. Having the garage was nice. We took advantage of some of the beach toys. Previous guests were a little rough on the carpet but I can't fault the manager for that. Will certainly look to staying here again. I would recommend picking up groceries further south eg Lihue if possible before arriving. The local foodland has a nice deli but the grocery prices are crazy even for Kauai."

"I could not give more of a high review. This was my 3rd visit to Kauai and there is no better place than Hanalei. You will not be let down by anything!
I would like to list the following; This is no small place, in-fact quite large for two. We had my brother and sister-inlaw over for a bbq and there was amenities for all! The walk to the beach is almost a trip and a fall. Super close. The walk to town was equally as short. The only reason we used our rental was to go way out of town. Outdoor shower is awesome for rinsing off your beach bi-product.
Nothing overlooked, down to the spices in the cabinet, purified water, completeness of kitchen utensils. All of the rest.
To make this a non biased review, I would like to mention that the couch/comfort ratio is not up to par with the house. Plus there was a oscillating fan that was not working (making our first night really hot until Devaki showed us all the windows that could be opened.) All that aside I could not give this less than a 5 star rating!
If you have any second thoughts, you must disregard! You wont be disappointed!"
