  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!

"My boyfriend and I stayed here and it was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning with coffee and then again in the late afternoon after our day at the beach. It is peaceful and scenic - the patio offers a view of the ocean as well as the beautiful landscape. We really enjoyed feeling as if we were in a home and not just in a hotel room. It truly adds to the experience to be able to buy local fish and make meals at the house. It is a short walk to the beach which is lovely for days you don't want to drive anywhere. We even stopped at a restaurant on the way back from the beach so it was all very convenient. I fell in love with Kauai all over again during this visit. I would recommend this place and hope to return soon."

  • Fabulous Home!

"We've stayed at a lot of homes on Kauai, but this home was absolutely amazing! Every amenity you could ask for was furnished. With five bedrooms and bathrooms, there was plenty of room for all the adults in our party. The huge porch was a favorite hangout for all of us. The location can't be beat with great sunset views. We saw so many whales off the point, we lost track. Gorgeous wood floors and granite in the kitchen and baths gave the house such a feeling of luxury. We will definitely stay here again!"

  • We got the fairy tale!

"After renting condos for snorkeling vacations in Maui, the Caribbean, Florida and the Bahamas, I had a pretty pie-in-the sky wish list of what I wanted for my first trip to Kauai. A lanai as close the ocean as possible. Best possible shore snorkeling with easy access close by. A secure spot where I could let the breeze blow in on the ground floor but still feel private and safe. A real king bed (not two old singles strapped together). Air circulation without stale air conditioning. A kitchen and a view that would make going out to eat unnecessary unless I really craved a change of pace (which I really didn't). And if I was REALLY lucky I'd get a shower stronger than a drizzle and more than two decent wine glasses to bring out to the lanai. BINGO!!! Found it all here and then some. Already planning our return before we left. Perfect sunny central location to explore Kauai and just gawk at the ocean and the neighborhood birds and turtles. Love Kuhio Shores in general for the easy going, friendly, but immaculately maintained feel of the property....and unit 108 especially for all the amenities, comfie furniture, the VIEW, etc. etc. Almost once a day, we'd overhear someone staying in another unit walk by and comment ", that's a nice unit!" Partly wanted to keep this a secret in case someone reads this and wants to book my "slot" next year, but wanted to definitely give Patrice and Terry a double thumbs up and say "Mahalo nui.....and aloha for now!""

  • Wonderful condo

"This condo is so well appointed and up to date. I could have been happy never to leave the lanai. The view was beautiful and it was such fun to watch the sea turtles. It's location next to the Beach House restaurant was so convenient. We celebrated my birthday dinner there and didn't have to worry about finding a parking space. Every evening we walked next door and joined the people outside the Beach House watching the unobstructed view of the sunset. The location is very close to Spouting Horn and the McBride and Allerton gardens. Even the bedroom and bathroom have ocean views. I've never before had a bathroom with a view! The only sounds we heard were the waves, no street or parking lot noise. I highly recommend this unit."
