  • Spacious, Beautiful Home and Perfect Location

"Our family (six adults)loved our stay. The pictures are exactly like the home. The house was well appointed and so spacious that people had lots of private room. The master bedroom suite is huge and very lovely. Having a fourth bathroom and shower in the laundry room is an added plus. There is plenty of room on the driveway for several cars. We ate many breakfasts and dinners on the porch overlooking the pool and golf course. It was great to come home at the end of the day and relax and take a swim. The location is the best. Everything is close by and even going to the farthest locations on the island is easy (though driving is very slow). The airport is about thirty minutes away. Poipu Beach which is around the corner had fantastic snorkeling. We saw beautiful fish, a wonderful turtle and a monk seal that was sunning on the beach. The area has many restaurants and wonderful shops. Select this home with confidence."

  • Great place to stay in Kauai

"A few issues arose our first night here - fridge didn't keep things cold, wi-fi didn't work and one of the bedrooms had a broken ceiling fan - the property managers were pretty quick to help with remedies for those problems. Wi fi was the longest to fix issue - at first, the front desk staff asked me to call the cable company to have the cable staff walk me through fixing the problem. After getting no where with the cable company (and wasting an hour of my vacation time) a trip to the front desk in person helped the staff see that asking the guest to work on the fix wasn't the best solution. Nice place to stay, very close to everything you'd want near Poipu Beach. Comfortable condo - furniture was nice, beds were comfortable. Lots of pool and beach toys, including boogie boards and a beach umbrella. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Master bathroom needs some repair - the ceiling is peeling above the light fixture. Nice to have a full-size washer and dryer on the main floor, as well as a bathroom. Kitchen is up to date though in desperate need of new cookware. The pans are nearly unusable - rusty and no longer flat on the bottom. The pans looked like they've served well, but they are more than ready to be retired. Dishes and flatware in the cupboards were not clean - dried on food and hair on many items. Easily remedied by removing everything and washing dishes, but who wants to spend time on their vacation washing dishes before using them? My guess? A previous renter put them away dirty, still, with a $200 cleaning fee, the dishes should be clean. Though the kitchen has a pastry blender (for those vacationers who want to make homemade pie crust?) there is no whisk. I would have purchased one and left it behind if we'd had more time. The condo needs a front screen door. With the front door and door to the deck open, there is a lovely cross breeze. With no screen on the front door, we had flying bugs in the condo. The trade off was worth it - the breeze was really nice. Still, an easy fix to just install a screen door - most of the other units in the building have one. Great view from the deck and master bedroom. The building was being painted the week of our trip. It is nice to have things updated, but having painters on the lanai and outside the bedroom windows most of the days of our stay was a bit awkward for the times we were in the condo. Would have been nice to know that at time of booking. Would stay again and recommend to others."

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!

"My boyfriend and I stayed here and it was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning with coffee and then again in the late afternoon after our day at the beach. It is peaceful and scenic - the patio offers a view of the ocean as well as the beautiful landscape. We really enjoyed feeling as if we were in a home and not just in a hotel room. It truly adds to the experience to be able to buy local fish and make meals at the house. It is a short walk to the beach which is lovely for days you don't want to drive anywhere. We even stopped at a restaurant on the way back from the beach so it was all very convenient. I fell in love with Kauai all over again during this visit. I would recommend this place and hope to return soon."

  • Good cond at a reasonable price...

"We stayed for a week in August and really enjoyed ourselves. We woke the first morning to a double rainbow viewed from the lanai while we had our coffee. The condo is the perfect size for a couple. It's an easy walk along beautifully kept gardens to the beach. It rained each day, which we enjoyed being from California and in a drought. Our favorite restaurant was the Mexican one at the center just a quick drive past the round-about. Sorry, I forgot names. We were so relaxed we put less than 100 miles on our rental car in a week! Just hanging out at the beach watching the waves break. The condo is very comfortable and in a quiet area. The pool is a lot of fun with a small slide. The weight room is state of the art and the aerobic room as well. All of it just a short walk across the street. A must see is the Na Pali coast dinner cruise. Just so beautiful. Food stores are at either end of Koala town, the bigger at the far end. Don't shop at the one the management company tells you to go to at the yellow submarine. It's half empty and the people are not at all friendly or helpful."
