"We were delighted when we arrived at the beach house to find it was even more charming and comfortable than we had expected form the pictures! As a family with two young children and my mother, the house could not have been more perfect. My older son immediately fell in love with the warm and whimsical decor in the 'school' room-themed bedroom. And we all found the configuration with three bedrooms and a beautifully renovated bathroom with tub upstairs to be very convenient. The view from the lake-front bedroom is also lovely. What a peaceful place to wake up! Downstairs, the kitchen is beautifully modernized with everything you need for your stay. The owners, Health and Steve, were very thoughtful in providing supplies like dishwashing liquid, paper towels and toilet paper. The dining room is a charming place to have a meal and the chilly temps at night allowed us to enjoy the cozy fireplace. For multi-generation families, the downstairs bedroom with its own bathroom is also a plus. And the location! How ideal. A brief walk over the dunes puts you on the wonderfully serene, unspoiled beach - along which you can walk for miles. And it is a quick drive to the shops and restaurants of Canal Park - as well as the wonderful boardwalk, which we found convenient. Plus, how nice to stay near the iconic lift bridge! Thank you so much to Heath and Steve for a magical home in Duluth."

"we enjoyed this well kept condo with its open wooden beamed overhead, brick walls, and location. Plenty of towels, clean bedding and well equipped kitchen. Quiet surroundings and easy access made for a great stay. Would definitely stay again."

"This house was great and exactly as described. It is a fe blocks from the downtown area (a steep walk!), with an organic food store, cafés etc. even closer. The house itself is clean with most of what you'd need for a vacation stay - no dishwasher or wifi, but perhaps that's a good thing? There is also a great yard with a barbecue pit and opportunities to enjoy the sun. a place we'd return for a central Duluth stay!"
