  • A great gathering place

"Our visit was too short and we loved this house!! The kids had a great time running around the property and even got their feet wet in the pond. After the kids went to bed we stayed up and enjoyed a local wine under the star filled sky and lost count of the shooting stars. Next time our visit will have to be longer than an overnight."

  • Great Gedtaway

"My daughter and I spent July 17th and 18th at the cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. Was able to unwind and get away from traffic and city noises. Everything you need is in the cabin. Bring your food and drinks. One suggestion Roger. The bbq you provide is pretty flimsy. We were afraid that it may fall over. Thatr would be the only complaint I have. May be bringing my wife in the fall for a getaway. Thanks for the nice accomodations."

  • Two Week Getaway in Columbia River Area

"Our stay at this VRBO was quite pleasant. The four star rating (instead of five) is due to the train noise, especially the whistles ... throughout the night. Otherwise, the property is "as advertised." Denise is a most gracious host, sharing information about the area, as well as the local fruit! We enjoyed outings to both sides of the river, multiple mountains, and even saw deer from the house."

  • Very inviting, clean, and nice!

"Just far enough away from the city, and yet close enough to access all of the restaurants, attractions, and activities. It is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Portland. Very spacious and clean. John was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We enjoyed our time at this home. Private with lots of parking. There is a view of the Columbia river from the living room, and the bedrooms are on the back of the home with plenty of privacy. The entrance to the freeway system is just about 5 minutes from the home. Walking and jogging paths are close by."
