Come kick back and relax in our spacious double level. Amazing views abound of Mt. Hood and the Columbia Gorge. Relax in the outdoor living space or venture out to all the recreational havens the gorge has to offer. Be sure to catch at least one sunset they are breathtaking!
Spacious 4 bedroom house with 3.5 baths. This house has the ability to host multiple or large families. Two large king bedrooms downstairs with a living space and kitchenette. One queen and one twin trundle bed ( two twin mattresses) bedrooms upstairs with main kitchen and living space. Large deck upstairs with outdoor couches and dining table. Large fenced back yard perfect for your four legged friends. The back yard also has seating and a propane fueled fire pit.

This area has high winds and heat most of the summer. Typically calmer in the morning.

(This is a re-listed already existing VRBO, with a back stock of wonderful reviews, located in the heart of the Columbia Gorge! Due to ownership changes The E+H house had to create a whole new listing and we would greatly appreciate your kind reviews; for credibility we have included a few photos of the most recent reviews that were recently left on our former listing for this home :).

Hood River Vacation

We had a great stay at this house. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was close to Hood River. Our daughter especially loved that there were toys to play with.

Awesome Vacation Home

Amazing property just a short drive from Hood River. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of Mt Hood. Lots of room for our family of 6 to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Communication with the host was great!

We love the house, second time there. There was a few bumps but things happen. We appreciated the host getting on it and being kind. Its dog friendly and fenced such a bonus. Thanks for sharing!

Great layout! I really liked this place but the only drawback was the road noise. We tend to go to bed early so with the trucks and lack of blackout curtains it made going to bed a little difficult.

What a perfect house - amazing views and space. The covered outdoor areas were so nice! The main floor kitchen and living area was so great to just sit and enjoy the spectacular views. Close to The Dalles and dining options. We will be back!

Family visit

The house is intentionally designed to host groups of people, generously equipped with 4 bathrooms (3 showers) and has a great kitchen, 2 patios and a back yard for outdoor gathering. The views of the Gorge and Mt Hood are great. We had a few minor maintenance issues and didn't get a response from the host but overall we had a great stay and would stay again.

Comfy with great views

Stayed here as a racing team. House was clean, had good amenities, very comfortable and cozy. Host was great with communication. Would stay here again. Only thing to note is the bed/bedroom description was not accurate. Worked out for us and we let the property manager know they should update the listing, they assured us they would. As of writing this review, it had 2 king beds, 1 full/double bed and a twin bed with a pullout trundle.

The views of Mount Hood and the Columbia River were amazing. The host provided extras for children like toys and high chairs, and for dogs, there was a kennel. The house is filled with fun modem features, including double ovens, smart tvs, soaking tub, and rain shower. There are lots of entertainment areas, including two living rooms indoors and three outdoor seating areas. The only drawback is the traffic noise from the highway when you are outside. The interior waa very quiet.

Nice Space

A really lovely property and Summer was an excellent, responsive host when we needed help with some things. The views are great and the space is nice for a group. We had an infant with us and the downstairs seemed like a quiet place to sleep while the rest of us hung upstairs. At the time of booking, the listings’s bed situation was unfortunately not accurate. At the time of our booking the listing claimed 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 doubles when in fact the property had 2 king beds, 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. It seems the listing has been updated for the twin beds but still claims the double is a queen (friends that slept there confirmed it is NOT a queen bed). No harm and no foul as it was still a great experience, Summer is a lovely host and we had groups coming and going so the bed situation was fine, but not accurate. Perhaps the bed truly has been changed out, but if not, two people may be uncomfortable in the “queen” bed. Overall a lovely place!

A little let down..but, nice views to the west!

After three nights in this property it’s clear to me that there is a strong focus on style, even it it comes at the sacrifice of function. From unnecessary barn doors that leave little privacy to sunny windows with no blinds or screens, the owner of this property appears to have picked their favorite looks with little regard for The functionality of the space. Beyond the design, the cleanliness was a problem. After arriving my party spent our first hour cleaning the trashcan and the kitchen, washing some of the sheets, and emptying the fridge of spoiled food from previous guests. The kitchen only has an induction stove which rendered my pans useless. However the pans provided, especially the nonstick pans, are dangerously scratched. The bathrooms are fine, but the water heater cannot keep up with the four bathrooms. The listing also mentions a playground for children, which is just a blatant lie. Nevertheless there is a nice patio, some comforters, and a nice view of the river. , washing sh

Hi Tanner, This is very unfortunate to hear, as we have never received a review stating so many issues. Most of our guests love the space and enjoy their time hear mentioning how clean the space is. Our cleaners usually leave the space impeccably clean, but there was a new cleaner this turn; so that will be addressed. We do have blinds, and I was unaware that the listing stated a playground; I’m going to verify this and remove it if it’s there. I’m very sad to hear your time was so awful, as we do our best to maintain the space for an enjoyable stay for our guests. I wish you would have let us know upon arrival of all these issues.
