"We had a nice time. The house was fully stocked with everything that was needed, and amazingly even a potty seat for the 2.5 year old. All we had to bring was our food and personal items. We enjoyed seeing the deer up close in the yard and clam digging when the tide was out. Every bedroom had cable television and a private bath, so it was easy to divide and choose bedrooms with no one feeling like they got the short end of the stick. The island, while close to Seattle, still felt like a vacation retreat far away from "the real world". We visited several beaches, checked out real estate, and went to Fort Casey for exploring, bike riding and kite flying. The only minor criticism I could come up with would be to have a microwave oven instead of the confection oven, which we could not get the hang of using, so we popped corn on the stove instead. Otherwise I was amazed by the thoughtfulness of the potential needs and clear cut instructions/information provided. There are stairs up and down to all bedrooms (except one) and to beach access, which may be limiting to some people. We came in the summer, but I can imagine that this would make a nice winter retreat as well. Overall an enjoyable experience."

"Everything was as described. Our stay was incredible. The view of the ferries coming and going is breathtaking. The scenery is great. You can even access a private rocky beach area. Very accessible and easy to get too in order to access all the amazing island activities. Will definitely come here again."

"We've stayed twice now (Spring and Fall) are continually mesmerized by the Cabin. The location is quiet and secluded, but with plenty to do. We typically bring games (cards, dice, board games) to play. There are games, books, and puzzles provided by the hosts as well. Lots of beautiful roads to walk and a canoe to explore the lake. Outdoor fire pit and an indoor fireplace make for a cozy 'glam-camping' experience. There is little to no cell service at the cabin, no TVs, and no internet. Its a forced blackout of tech and the break does the soul good. There are also so many state parks nearby, hiking trails, and the magical pies/food of Whidbey Island Pies and Greenbank Farms is not to be missed. Its an amazing getaway and we can't wait to come back!"

"Enjoyed our rustic get away at your beach home. Nature galore including a porcupine, otter and birds feeding their chicks right in front of picture window. Great place for cookouts and watching the long sunsets. Quiet, tranquil, and fairly secluded beach great for walks or just watching water activity."
