"Peaceful, quiet, creature comforts, and all the extra thoughtful amenities to make our stay relaxing and great, not to mention a nice view to a little bit of heaven. Nothing fancy, just what the doctor ordered, and the price was right. If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place for you. Full grocery, gas station, pharmacy, coffee shop, McDonalds, and Walgreens less than five minutes away. Didn’t have a chance to get on the water, but looks good. Plenty of birds, chipmunks, even an albino chipper. Dishwasher and washer/dryer were welcomed inclusions. The air conditioning came in handy to clear the humidity. The heating was great, as spring nights were a little cooler than expected. Beds were comfortable, with quality bedding, all adding up to…what’s the word? Cozy. Not sure what the previous reviewers were whining about. Everything worked for us. Yes, there were a couple flies, and a few mosquitoes, but no ants, no spiders, no lions or tigers, and the bears, well they’re not even in training camp yet. Coming from a seasoned vacation renter, this place is the real deal, and worth a try."
