"The Scandia House Loft" was a labor of Love, it took two years to restore this former house of Pleasure. In the process of restoration we discovered old coins, whore house tokens, old newspapers ,wooden nickels and other artifacts. It left us with this beautiful place in downtown Hamilton, Montana over The Blodgett Canyon Cellars Wine Bar and Tasting Room... we added a lovely 2nd floor deck with access to the roof top lounge with a fantastic view of the Bitter-root and Sapphire Mountains. You'll agree it is an enchanting place to stay...We look forward to meeting you all...

What makes this Corporate Apartment unique
My wife and I bought this Property two years ago. It was the 2nd or 3rd brick building on Main Street. The city father "Marcus Daly The Copper King" built the Bank 1st and the Scandia Whore House 2nd or 3rd. In 1897, 120 years ago we didn't know it at the time but, we bought the downtown religious shrine (Just Kidding). As we took it apart we found old coin, whorehouse tokens and the gabled skylights. It looks like a crystal palace now compared to the dark hole it was. Then we put in a roof top lounge, 2nd floor deck, restored the murals downstairs and opened The Blodgett Canyon Callers Wine Bar. Upstairs we put, in tin ceilings 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cozy bar has an 1875 railroad map and club chairs it has a great vibe through out. We put up a 5 piece wainscot to represent the way we felt it would have looked back in the day, I used gold and black oriental rugs all a round. The street side great room has a beautiful gas fireplace and dining area. Well equipped Kitchen with a Black walnut island for your prep work

Very clean, spacious, and great location! Craig went out his way to make sure the fridge was stocked with breakfast food and snacks. This place has a lot of charm and we were sad to have to leave at the end of the weekend!
Nice Place to stay!!
Beautiful inside and very convenient to everywhere you need to go. Loved the deck, even though it was cold outside! Nice to have the refrigerator stocked with breakfast & coffee available for the morning! Class job and definitely would stay again!
Fantastic having you ...hope to see you again real soon...
Thank you for your stay.
What a wonderful place to stay. The host goes over and above to make you comfortable and the property is awesome in all respects. We highly recommend.
We loved staying in this two bedroom apartment in the cute little town of Hamilton, MT. This apartment is worth driving to and staying in all on its own. We sincerely hope we get that chance again. The owner has done an amazing job of turning this into a place that you should want to visit. If we lived a drive away, we would book a weekend here every year just to stay in the place. It is that good.
Book this place with confidence. The owner treated us fantastically. He created a place you'd be happy being holed up in for a week. Do yourself a favor and do that sometime. Thanks for having this place Craig. It really made our time in Hamilton special.
Very special place
This is a result of a true labor of love. We really enjoyed staying here and meeting the wonderful owner. He has done an incredible amount of work restoring this home and certainly shows through out. We were very lucky to have been able to stay. The location was perfect. We were even able to watch the small town parade which was quite refreshing and then enjoy the county fair. Both quite the contrast to the madness of our San Diego parades and fair that we are used to. This is the kind of town I would love to live in or at least visit more often. Thank you for sharing your lively home.
You guys are too kind… It was wonderful making your acquaintance… Hope to see you again soon.
Hands the the best VBRO. A must stay if in Hamilton MT.
This has to be by far the best VBRO we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many. Not only was the place very clean the interior charm was amazing. We had our teenage daughter's with us and being that it was right downtown they were able to walk around town and see all the quaint shops. The owner Craig was top notch and we could have talked with him for hours if given the opportunity. Their hospitality hands down was the best we have ever experienced. They supplied breakfast food with bacon, eggs, orange juice, bagels and cream cheese. We will defiantly be back and stay longer to experience more of the town of Hamilton. This place is truly a gem and a must stay at if you are ever in Hamilton MT. Thank you Craig you are a true gentleman.
You Guys are to kind...love to see you again...we had fun!!!
