About the owner: We were renters ourselves for a few years in a row -- our friends Jonathan and Carolyn ran the vacation rental and we'd said back then, if you ever want to sell... Sure enough, when they were ready we were their first call, and we bought the property immediately.
Why the Owner Chose Dixon, NM, USA:
This might be the most ideal property in Dixon. We are at the end of the road, with only wilderness beyond us. So we have this vast, protected, BLM natural preserve as our side and backyards. You can see our neighbors down the road about 100 yards, but that's about it. Otherwise, it's untouched.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love going there ourselves - we are in Dixon 3-4 times a year. Somehow, we never tire of the intoxicating landscape, the air, the quiet, the extraordinary New Mexican skies, and the light. The hammock under the ramada is one of the most magical spots. The ramada's pillars provide framed views of the landscape that remind us of Maxfield Parrish's idyllic worlds.
