Beautiful property that surpasses all the others we’ve stayed at in this area with ideal views of the surrounding countryside and Montalcino. The owners are friendly and respond immediately, it made the stay just perfect. We’ll definitely try to be back next year!

A great Tuscan experience

The property is situated in a beautiful location, is very well appointed, spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning should temperatures be very high. The hosts are exceptionally helpful, provided lots of useful information and went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful holiday.

The most wonderful place

Absolutely stunning place. THe home is located in a tranquil, unspools location without lots of tourists Village close by with all amenities including a great wine bar. Spa close at bagno vignoni for a dip Val D’Orcia picturesque scenery on your door step Montalcino wineries close by Pienza with its pecorino cheese close Siena just 30 minutes away. We had such a good stay and we went during the corona virus out break and all ran as normal with nowhere closed or stopping service as usual. Can't wait to go again some day!!

Tuscan Paradise!

We stayed here recently for a Valentine Day treat for my wife. The villa is beautiful. Even in late February we will able to sit in the courtyard and enjoy lunch with the amazing view of the rolling hills and in the afternoon in the garden under the pergola. The villa is well appointed with an excellent kitchen and pantry and the owner had left us a lovely bottle of tuscan wine from Montalcino to enjoy on arrival. The estate is so quiet and tranquil, we hope to return in the summer to take advantage of the pool! A special mention of Barrie and Julie who could not be more accommodating arranging a trips to a local vinyard and a some excellent day trip suggestions including Siena where we ate at Le Logge, which is the best dining experience we have had the pleasure to enjoy in all our years of travel to Italy plus the beauiful spa village close to Buonconvento, Bagno Vignoni where we warmed our feet in the roman spring! The village of Buonconvento is a jewel! The people were so welcoming and there really was everything you need for a countryside escape that we didnt need to venture further afield for supplies. The village had a lovely buzz to it and was not in any way touristy like some of the other more well known villages which whilst attractive like Buonconvento, seemed to be more set up for tourists. At night we walked to the local hotel for dinner and drinks on the terrace or a little bit further up the hill to the TNT pub which serves excellent pasta and pizza. I would definitely recommend the home to friends and are sure to return.

Weather you want to know what fruit and vegetables are in season and where to buy them or want a table at the local winery located just a few minutes walk from the home we will be happy to help and ensure you feel right at home from the minute you arrive.

After many years searching, we finally found Cortile del Pozzo, our dream home here in late 2018 and is now available to share with friends and customers alike for the first time from 2019. For us the home offers the perfect balance between enjoying the serenity of the tuscan countryside nestled with rolling hills and blue skies and glorious sunshine within walking distance to a winery with wonderful menu, local pub and the village of Buonconvento, which is a real hidden gem, a beautiful typical tuscan borgo with all amenities and friendly locals twelve months a year. Here you can relax in the large private garden, take in the panoramic view from the courtyard, enjoy a game of tennis or bocce or take a dip in the pool, all available here at the residence. The home is within easy reach of all tourist locations such as Montalcino and its worldwide renowned wineries, Siena and probably the most beautiful piazza and Bagno Vignoni, an impossibly picturesque spa village where you can literally dip your toes in the warm running spring. Plus many more places of natural beauty, towns and villages to visit and revel in their wonder. Our goal is for you to enjoy Cortile del Pozzo as much as we do and ensure your experience is a real home from home experience.

The village offers a chance to indulge in authentic tuscan life from visiting the Green grocers, butchers and deli to the cafe culture, dining alfresco and weekly market, Buonconvento draw people back year after year as a village unspoilt by time or mass tourism, full of local characters with a willing smile.

We will be delighted to recommend the hidden places as well as the more well known towns and village to ensure you have the most authentic local experience imaginable. From wineries to open air warm spa's, the local greengrocer to a favourite restaurant and bar with panoramic view just a short walk from the home, we will be only to happy to share our experience's with you!
