We just finished renovating our lake cabin on Long Lake just north of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. We are not able to get up here as often as we'd like so we want to share it! The main level of the property consists of a kitchen, living area, dining area, 1 bedroom and a bathroom. The upstairs has 2 more bedrooms. The downstairs is our "game room" with darts and foosball, and a big screen TV. Enjoy the screen porch in the warmer months - everyone says it feels like you are sitting up in the trees. Warm cedar lines the interior of the cabin, curl up by the real wood fireplace.

Clean, quiet, relaxing getaway. Just what we needed
The screened in porch was perfect. We also liked the use of the paddle boat, which was nice seeing as the lake is the right size for not having a lot of boat traffic. Loons on the lake were a nice touch also at night. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our reality check.
This was our second stay on Long Lake and it did not disappoint once again. The fishing was great and our kids spent moat of their time on or in the water. The cabin was stocked very well with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The screen porch was a wonderful place to enjoy the lake view free from any bugs. We can't wait for our next visit!
our time at the cabin
There were 4 of us walking the nearby Ice Age Trail. The place was cozy, comfortable, and complete with everything we needed. It was a bit rainy and overcast so didn't get as much water time as hoped, but did get out for a bit of time on the dock.
We really enjoyed the cabin. The inside is nicely updated. The kitchen is well equipped. The family room furniture is very comfortable. It was very peaceful. We had a great time on the paddleboards and using the kayaks. We went hiking on great hikes in St. Croix Falls, Taylor's Falls, and on one of the glacier trails. We also loved the ropes course at Trollhaugen. It was a great place to relax, listen to the loons, and get used to paddleboarding.
Nice cabin, well furnished
I had a great time at the Turtle Lake Cabin. The accommodations were comfortable and the place had everything we needed. The game room downstairs was a huge bonus, but the weather was perfect so we barely used it because we were outside all day long.
Fantastic Cabin on a Quite Lake
cabin was very clean and a great size. The lake ( 70ish acres) is great for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and it's not too big with a ton of boat traffic. We had children with us and they had a blast as well. We will definitely be coming back next summer!
