Murton Cottage is a historic cottage situated in Burford, Oxfordshire. It dates back several centuries and epitomises the classic English countryside cottage with its light, modern rooms and old exposed beams. Downstairs there is a living / dining room with log-burner, and fitted kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms (one super king size and one twin) and a separate family bathroom, with roll top bath, walk-in shower and w.c. On the second floor is the master suite, with king size bed and en-suite shower room with shower and w.c. Roadside parking is available immediately outside the cottage (this is not allocated). Murton Cottage is ideal for friends and families. Note: One dog welcome at an additional charge of £25.00
Amenities: Heating with open fire. induction hob & oven, grill, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Utility with washing machine, and freezer. TV, Freeview, DVD player, WiFi. Fuel and power inc in rent. Please note an initial supply of logs & kindling is provided for the property between October until end of March; additional log supplies can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. Private courtyard to the rear of the property with table and chairs and outbuilding containing a fridge / freezer. One well behaved pet welcome charges apply. Cot and highchair available. Roadside parking (not allocated) immediately outside the cottage. Shop and pub 0.1 miles. Note: This property requires a refundable £300.00 Good Housekeeping bond. There is also the signature, on the baptisimal font, of Antony Sedley, one of the Levellers besieged in the church in 1649 - three of the ringleaders were executed by Oliver Cromwell's men in the churchyard. Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Cirencester and Stow on the Wold are all with 25 minutes from the property.
