We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moss Beach Retreat. The house is very comfortable, spacious rooms and well stocked. The furniture is comfortable with a nice, big tv and cable that's easy to navigate. The neighborhood is very quiet. The Fitzgerald Marine Reserve is literally across the street. We communicated with Trish on several occasions and she's very quick to respond and very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.

A fabulous home is a wonderful beach setting location!

Our family stayed at the Moss Beach Retreat for Christmas 2024, and we had an amazing time!. The home is beautifully appointed with every amenity needed for a relaxing stay, it is cozy, quiet and private. We loved everything about it and highly recommend the property to future guests, and Trish the host was amazing....6 STARS!

Amazing Place for Relaxation

Great location! House is amazing and well equipped! Sky lights through out gives a lot of natural light. Can hear the ocean from the patio. Close to San Francisco and rest of Bay Area.

Even better than the photos

This property is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and in a wonderful location. It is very close to the beach and easy driving distance to many lovely restaurants and ocean sites. The house is well-stocked (lots of towels, linens, and kitchen items), and the appliances are top-notch. Serenity and comfort abound!

Amazing Property in Moss Beach

We just had a week long stay in Moss Beach at this house and it was fantastic. The check-in was smooth as was the communication with the owner/host. The house itself was very clean, secure, and had a great back patio to enjoy the cool weather and birds. The hot tub was a nice addition and was very clean and well kept. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and prepare for the day. Location was great and the park and tide pools close by made it super easy to get out of the house and enjoy nature. Would highly recommend to anybody looking to stay near Pacifica or Half Moon Bay. Stop looking around and just book this place already. You won't regret it!

Beautiful house-exquisite details

We hosted niece and nephew receiving graduate degrees. Loved our stay-excellent location with beautiful ocean views across park in front of house. Heated floors, calming hot tub surrounded by bamboo., just a few of the amenities. I’d rate it higher than 5 stars if I could.

Wonderful Serene Retreat!

This property is exactly as represented--peaceful, quite comfortable, high-end bedding and appliances, every creature comfort you can desire from a k-cup coffee pot to a drip coffee pot, lots of natural light courtesy of skylights, great location, awesome, private hot tub, and so much more!

Gorgeous retreat in Moss Beach

We had a great stay at this beautiful house. Everything was tastefully done in the house, from the great chef's kitchen, to the beautiful back patio with the enclosed patio. Although the property faces a public park and has houses on either side, it feels very private both inside the house and in the back patio. We had our dog with us too, and the vicinity to many great dog-friendly trails helped make this a very pleasant getaway for all of us. I highly recommend this property.

The pictures don't lie

This is a stunning home right next to the marine reserve. It is unimaginably peaceful. The house is very thoughtfully appointed, luxurious and comfortable. The host is very welcoming and helpful.

Great get away home by the water

Facilities were wonderful, the only issue I experienced is that I was unable to figure out how to get the Italian made oven to work. Maybe it was out of service or maybe some basic instructions would be helpful. It wasn't a big issue as I had not planned on cooking during this get away. Property is nestled in a residential neighborhood and is a very short walk to the water. I had contacted the property manager about 3-4 times during my stay, she always replied in a timely manner. Property manager was wonder to deal with! I will definitely stay here again and refer it to family and friends.

Beautiful house by the beach

Working with Trish was super easy. The house is lovely: tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture, nice outdoor patio space with big hot tub. The house is right across the street from Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, which is a very popular spot for tide pooling. There is a nice hiking trail right there that is a short walk to the Moss Beach Distillery. I only gave the location four out of five stars because it was pretty busy all day long. It was completely quiet at night though and the busy park didn’t really bother us, but not ideal if you are looking for solitude. We would definitely rent this house again!

Awesome location!........ to enjoy the beach!

Beautiful property with a great location, comfortable Zen retreat with stunning details of Wood work, doors and built ins. Filled with amazing orchids. It was very comfortable and easy to feel at home. Walk to the reserve and tide pools added nature and just more peaceful zen. We had a wonderful family reunion! Thank you!

I have owned this lovely property since 2013. The women I purchased it from basically rebuilt this as an eco friendly home. It is done with utmost quality and very high end finishes. It has denim insulation, triple pane windows, bamboo hardwood floors etc. It has a very zen and warm feeling and feels much like a transformative environment.

What makes this property unique

High end quality throughout. Hardwood floors throughout except master bedroom which has wool carpets. The color scheme is very calming throughout. Hot Tub in Rear Yard in a Japanese enclosure. Window Coverings in every room. Black out curtains in Master Bedroom. Every bedroom has sliding door leading to outside. Just a hop skip and a jump to the ocean.
