Fantastic Family “Treehouse”-Hot Tub10 Minutes to Winter Park

The Treehouse is a spectacularly constructed 3,500+ square foot 'lodge' nestled in the woods, about five miles from Winter Park/Mary Jane ski area. There are Four Bedrooms, a main floor master with King, 2 upstairs bedrooms with Queen beds, and a bunk room that will sleep four people comfortably. There is an additional King bed downstairs in Rec room. There are three and a half bathrooms. The kitchen has all the necessities. New kitchen upgrade completed June 2018. All new SS appliances, new cabinets and granite countertops along with stunning oak slab dining table. GORGEOUS! A 6-person hot tub is conveniently situated on the covered lower deck with sauna, media room, and ping pong table in Rec room, offering easy access, privacy and relaxation.

There are many unique mountain-themed features in the Treehouse. There is room for 10 to sit and eat at the dining room table. The living room has a TV and space to spread out around a wood-burning stove (firewood provided). Downstairs is a 50" HDTV with a larger area to spread out. Natural slate and character hickory make up the rustic flooring, slate and marble tile murals highlight the woodstove and the master shower. The loft features a one-of-a-kind steel and log railing of pine tree silhouettes. The multiple windows in the Treehouse allow views of the Continental Divide and a peaceful meadow where moose and deer have been spotted.

Enjoy skiing or other winter activities at 'Winter Park'/'Mary Jane', 'Grand Park' or 'Devils Thumb Ranch' access to the all areas is quick and easy. The town of Winter Park has numerous restaurants and shops. The quaint town of Fraser is only one mile away and has a Safeway supermarket, a few restaurants, and shops.

It's a perfect size for a family reunion or for two families to spend a fun-filled vacation together. After a superb day on the slopes, come back and enjoy nearby sledding, quiet by the fire or puzzles, board games, cards or movies (adult and Disney available).

Come and spend some time in our comfortable mountain house! We highly recommend AWD/4wheel drive vehicles in the winter, steep mountain roads and snow can make driving challenging.

The rental was great. Plenty of room for our group of 9 adults. All the amenities you need were available. The steam sauna and the hot tub were especially appreciated after a day on the slopes The only comment I would make is the king size bed on the lower floor. I wish it was located in the upstairs loft or swapped in one of the upstairs bedrooms. It was right next to the sauna and it made it a bit unpractical to use when everyone was awake and using the downstairs for entertainment. Not really a big deal but worth notingOtherwise everything was great. We will definitely return and try to book again wen we chose Winter Park again for our ski vacation

Fun in the Treehouse

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Treehouse. The kids loved the " party room" which is a closet with toys and dress up hats etc. and the adults loved the sauna and hot tub. Location is so close to Winter Park .

Fantastic Home for Ski Trip

My family and I stayed at the Tree House to ski Winter Park. It is a short 10-15 min drive and 3 turns away. The house is exactly as described with more than enough room for 7 of us. Loved the hot tub after skiing and large open main room with huge windows and a great winter view of the snow covered trees

We live here when we aren't traveling. We tour the mt west skiing during the winters and do self-guided long distance biking during the summers.

Why they chose this property

We previously owned a 2 bedroom condo in Meadowridge. We love visiting Fraser during summers and winters and wanted more space. We bought property in Winter Park Ranch in 2003 (about a mile away) and started building in 2005. We love that we are nestled in the woods, close to walking, running, biking and cross-country trails, with great views yet and still close to Winter Park Resort and 'downtown' Fraser-Safeway, Grand Park Recreation Center, library, and tennis courts.
