Appartement au dernier étage dans le centre de Funchal avec deux balcons. Récemment restauré. Très calme bien que dans le centre de Funchal. L'appartement dispose de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains et 2 balcons avec une belle vue sur le paysage de Madère et la mer. Deux chambres ont des portes ouvrant sur l'un des balcons avec vue sur les toits, les montagnes, l'église et un aperçu de la mer. Il est situé dans le centre de Funchal, juste derrière le centre commercial La Vie comprenant une pharmacie 9h / 24h et un supermarché ouvert tous les jours de la semaine. Même si l'appartement est proche du centre, il est calme le soir et toute la nuit. À 10 minutes à pied de la cathédrale, du parc et jardin municipal de Santa Catarina, du Ritz Café, du Theater Café et du Golden Gate Grand Café ou de la marina où la plupart des bus s'arrêtent. Le parking est dans la rue par des compteurs payants ou dans un parking sécurisé non cher dans le bâtiment voisin.

Lovely apartment

This apartment is lovely, very clean and has everything you need. A 5 minute walk and there are lots of great restaurants and bars, also a nice friendly little bar virtually next door. We thoroughly enjoyed Funchal and will definitely be back again soon.

Comfortable and spacious

A lovely flat in a good position in central Funchal. Easy walk down to the harbour or up to the convents, museums etc. And close to the English church with its peaceful garden. Good views from the balconies. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Close to La Vie supermarket, and restaurants and bars. Maria Pia took us to and from the airport so everything was easy. Thank you, and to Elsa too. See you next year.

Fantastic holiday appartement !

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful appartement. The location is perfect, a quiet side street but within 5 min (walking flat !!) you are in the city center and a few more minutes at the Marina. The view from the balconies is very nice! There is also a shopping center nearby, (open every day) where you can do your groceries. We are a family of 5 & grandfather and the appartement with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms had the perfect size. It is nicely renovated and decorated and it was the best equipped holiday appartement we have ever stayed at! We will defenitely recommend this appartement to friends & family for future stays!

August heat in Funchall

Normally we travel to Portugal in May but August this time. The property is very, very nice and convenient but lacks AC. Just open the screened doors later in the day and it will cool down.

Well situated bright and airy apartment

The apartment was located close to supermarkets and restaurants, but only a 15 min stroll to the old town (more restaurants) and marina. Very well-equipped kitchen and spacious living area. 2 bathrooms - one with bath. Two balconies (sun in the mornings). Some traffic noise at front, but not enough to disturb. Elsa welcomed us and took the time to show us what was where in Funchal. We would like to go back and explore more of the island. Explored Funchal in a week - street music, history , and so many flowers and fruits. Monte is a must as is the market. Would recommend this property - only 4 stars because I never give anything 5!! GREATS DAYS IN MADEIRA

We are a Spanish family of five who spent a week in this apartment. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, well equipped, well located in Funchal, easy to get to from the airport and easy to get to anywhere in Funchal or Madeira from it. There are several public parking near it, and if you want to park in the same street you can do it in streets with regulated parking area (blue zone). We had no problem with the apartment and its owner. I only give it four stars and not five because the apartment is a bit hot and has no air conditioning, only fans. But, overall, it was worth it, and it did not seem expensive at all. By the way, the owner had the detail of lowering the price because the condominium was under repair.

Just perfect!

Nous avons séjourné du 14 août au 24 août à Funchal. Nous venions pour la première fois, avec nos deux enfants sur l'île de Madère et nous avons vraiment apprécié le séjour dans cet appartement, qui correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes Tout ce dont nous avions besoin s'y trouvait, l'espace était idéal pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres: parfait pour s'isoler et aussi être ensemble. La vue du balcon est juste magnifique entre mer et montagne, surtout au lever du soleil! La proximité du centre ville était vraiment un avantage pour partir en ballades et découvrir la ville et les sites touristiques, les plages et les installations aquatiques. Nous avons trouvé l'emplacement idéal pour une première fois, avec les commerces et les restaurants à deux pas: génial quand vous avez des adolescents affamés. Un très grand MERCI à Elsa et Sandra pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les boissons fraiches à notre arrivée: quelle charmante attention. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l'année prochaine, et parlerons autour de nous de cette île magnifique.

Absolut zentrale Lage

Wir - 2 Personen, 71 Jahre - haben die 14 Tage in dieser schönen, liebevoll ausgestatteten Wohnung genossen. Wer in Funchal zentral zum Hafen, zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und mitten im "Leben" wohnen möchte, sich auch an gelegentlichem Hundegebell nicht stört, ist in dieser Fewo genau richtig. Nachts ist es ruhig und man kann in den guten Betten ausgezeichnet schlafen. Die Vermieterin ist immer erreichbar und hat uns auch sofort den Wunsch nach einem Sonnenschirm erfüllt, damit wir auch unser Frühstück auf dem Balkon geniessen konnten. Wir sagen danke und empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter.

Zentrale Wohnung in der City von Funchal

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, die Küche hatte alle Utensilien, das Mobilliar ist gut. Schallisolierte Fenster mit Insektengittern, was angenehm ist. Sauberkeit bei Übernahme war gut. Wohnung ist im dritten Stock, aber Fahrstuhl ist im Gebäude. Wir können es empfehlen. Parkplätze sind in Funchal - City aber begrenzt. Bezahlbares Parken, zu zivilen Preisen in der Nähe, ist aber gut möglich.

A really homely apartment

First impressions were lovely. Welcomed warmly by Elsa within 10 minutes of texting to say we'd arrived ,even though early. The apartment was all we'd hoped. A lovely view from both balconies. Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well appointed for cooking with everything we needed ,dishwasher/washing machine/ pegs and hanging space for washing clothes. Dining table with plenty of space for 6 and soft homely sofa/chairs for all to relax. Close to supermarket, restaurants,shops and the Marina ,we were in the perfect position for the adrenaline fuelled holiday we craved. Most of the trips picked us up from our apartment,too. Only minor downside was the unusually hot weather meant that the twin room would have benefited from a ceiling fan like the other bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Madeira, too is a beautiful and friendly island with excellent restaurants and not overly expensive. Loads of places to see and things to do.

ideal city apartment

We enjoyed 2 beautiful weeks in Madeira! The apartment was exactly what we needed...very big (for two persons), well equipped, very nice and helpful Elsa:-), everything (shopping center, restaurants, coffee bars, shops, marina, seaside etc.) in Funchal in walking distance, easy to get out of the city by car, easy car parking around the building...thank you!

Lovely appartment, beautifully appointed.

Elsa was really helpful when we arrived, and the information in the apartment was comprehensive regarding the local facilities and restaurants. The apartment was beautifully cleaned and had everything in it that a family would need including washing machine and dishwasher. All appliances worked well and self catering was simple with a really good local store at La Vie 5 mins walk down the road. We took our two adult boys with us who have not shared a room since they were 9 and 13 years old, their room was plenty big enough to give them their own space with no stress. The apartment is about 10 mins walk from the marina so very central and convenient. We had a great time in Madeira and would recommend it and Elsa's apartment to anyone.

Extremely nice accomodation in Funchal

Elsa is a lovely host and gave us good tips for our stay in Funchal. The apartment is very roomy with a nice interior and a perfectly equipped kitchen. A shopping centre including a large supermarket is in the direct neighbourhood.

Elsa's apartment was homely and spacious.

A charming,cosy apartment in an ideal location if you want to be in the centre of Funchal yet in a quiet location. Minutes walk away from the centre and restaurants. It was nice to meet Elsa, and we appreciated her excellent communication both before the trip and when we arrived. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing visit. Thank you Elsa.

Fantastic!

This is a very nice apartment in the heart of Funchal. Easy to walk to everything yet quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. idéal pour séjour en famille à Madère

L' appartement est très bien équipé et très bien placé dans Funchal, tout est accessible à pied. Même s'il n'y a pas de parking, nous n'avons eu aucun problème de stationnement car il y a des places gratuites dans les rues voisines et un parking payant très bon marché de 8h à 20h juste au-dessus. Les contacts par mail et téléphone avec la propriétaire ont été très agréables et elle nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires pour faciliter notre séjour

brilliant apartment and good location

On the top floor of a building, the apartment was light, bright and spacious. Everything was designed for a welcoming and comfortable stay. We were met at the apartment by Elsa who helped us with maps, buses etc. The kitchen was fully equipped and even dishwasher tablets, washing powder and washing up liquid etc were all provided. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet at night. the view of the sea, roof tops and greenery was lovely and it was enjoyable living on a road where you could observe daily life of locals. We hope to return to Madeira and if we do, we will certainly look to book either this apartment or one of the others belonging to Elsa.

Home from home!

We have been fortunate to have now stayed in three of Elsa's Funchal properties all of which are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. This is our favourite largely because of its location. If you wish to be close to the centre but In a quiet residential area I can think of nowhere better. The apartment has everything needed to be completely at home but if you wish to eat out The are plenty of good restaurants nearby. For coffee and cake you only need to go downstairs and a few steps to the corner of the street! Elsa is the perfect host and I recommend asking her to arrange transfer from the airport as it makes arrival and departure stress free. We have already booked a return visit.

Lovely apartment with great location.

The Apartment was perfect. The location was very central in a quiet street. It was beautifully decoratet and well equipped, it felt like a home. The bedrooms were large and had lots of storage space. When we go back til Funchal we will stay in Elsas apartment again.

Lovely Apartment

We enjoyed a fantastic fortnight in this lovely apartment. It is large, clean and very well equipped. Elsa picked us up from the airport and gave us all the information we needed. There is a supermarket, shops and restaurants only 5 min away. The apartment is near the centre but in a quiet side road. We hope to return one day.Highly recommended.
