Crosswind Landing was renovated in 2017. As a result you'll be among the first to enjoy the refined new furniture, furnishings and fixtures since the complete overhaul. Crosswind Landing is located on Runboat Circle in Frisco.

1 private king master with full bathroom on the top level with it's own deck. This spacious room is our favorite with beautiful ocean and lighthouse views. There's nothing better than enjoying a nightcap on the Adirondack deck chairs, away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of your gang. The room features a king sized bed, a recliner, and a TV with DIRECTV.
2 queen master bedrooms on the second level, each with their own full bathroom. Both of these rooms overlook the pool and have access to a deck with chairs, and are just around the corner from the hot tub. Both of these rooms have TVs with DIRECTV.
1 bedroom with two twin beds on the second level. This room has a TV with DIRECTV and a shared full bathroom.
1 bedroom with a single over a double bunk bed on the second level. This room is popular for the kids (although the adults report liking it too) and features a shared full bathroom with the twin room, and a TV with DVD player.
Laundry is simple with a washer and dryer on the second level.
The Kitchen. dining area, and living area-
The main level includes the kitchen, the dining areas and the main living area.
This kitchen has been described as one of the nicest kitchens on Hatteras Island. With plenty of workspace on granite countertops, high-end stainless steel appliances including a whisper-quiet dishwasher, a five-burner gas range, and a large double door refrigerator with chilled filtered water on tap, it will be surely be a hit for cooks and diners alike. We've stocked it with everything you need, including plenty of small appliances to make the perfect meal.
The lovely main dining table offers seating for eight. An adjacent glass table provides additional seating for four, and the kitchen island offers seating for four. Completing the main level is a large sectional sofa. The TV in this area has DIRECTV and a blu-ray DVD player.
The den area on the ground level includes a sleeper sofa, a large TV with DIRECTV and blu-ray DVD player, a professional quality foosball table and plenty of board games.
In addition to the top level deck, Crosswind Landing offers plenty of deck space on the main level and second level. The main level deck features a table for dining al fresco as well as comfy Adirondack chairs.
The second level includes seating overlooking the pool as well as a private hot tub.
The Pool and outdoor areas-
The 12' x 24" pool offers plenty of room for your whole crew. Surrounding the pool are plenty of chairs and loungers. The tiki bar has a sink, a fridge with freezer and its own blender for whipping up the perfect frozen piña colada.
Under the house is a refreshing outdoor shower, with an adjoining covered picnic table area, fish cleaning station, and park style charcoal grill.

We have teamed up with Shore Details, a full service concierge service to take care housekeeping, maintenance, as well as any other needs you may have--they'll even do your grocery shopping for you! Getting there and getting around-
If you can find your way to Hatteras island, Crosswind Landing is a relaxing 43 mile scenic drive south on NC-12 from the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge. We're on Runboat, the third street on the left past the turn off to Billy Mitchell Airport.
Most folks drive in, but Crosswind Landing is walking distance of Billy Mitchell Airport, a quiet small general aviation airport that's operational only during the daytime. Contact the owner for more information about flying in for your stay. Parking at Crosswind Landing is plentiful, with room for up to five vehicles.
The good news is once you're here, you can leave the car parked. Crosswind Landing is walking distance to three restaurants, an ice cream shop, a museum, a convenience store, a tackle shop, a post office and several other shops, all within a mile of the house.
Crosswind Landing is a 90 second walk to the beach, and conveniently located in the village of Frisco. The uncrowded beaches of Frisco are considered the best of the Outer Banks-- gently sloping and with water often several degrees warmer than beaches north of Cape Point due to the flow of the Gulf Stream ocean current from the also makes for excellent fishing conditions in the area.
The Ocracoke Ferry is just 5 miles to the south, and historic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is 8 miles to the north. Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve is 5 mikes north, and the Frisco Native American museum is 1/2 mile from the house. Add in fishing, crabbing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, kiteboarding, sailing, and beach four wheeling, and you'll quickly discover there's no shortage of activities to keep you busy your entire stay.
